Witcher 2 for Xbox 360 'Enhanced Edition', 4+ hours bonus content, out April 17th

I bailed out when he jumped to a different scene and said it was from the end of the game (wtf???). Any announcements after that?

i know this is a longshot...

i can't get on stream so i might as well ask. did they redo the inventory selection and crap and made it easier for controller? any chance it will come to PC?

i just bought PC version and the inventory/journal stuff was pretty bad on controller.

Mouse + keyboard son

ok, I'm off to play Arena.

There really wasn't much detailed info during the stream to be honest (except for Dark Edition, retail release date, and a confirmation that PC gamers will get the enhanced content for free).

he said that they will redo navigation

So it will be 11 months do the day from PC release to console release. Playing it 11 months earlier feels good man.

Was very impressed by everything I saw. I really appreciate the pricing policy too. The XBOX editions are really cheap and PC users get all the new stuff for free.

Almost VALVE-esque

I dunno. Iorveth's path has much prettier environs. Either one is good. (Should eventually be both)

Roches Path: Iorveth is a dick. Roche is your bro.
Iorveths Path: Iorveth is still a dick. Roche is still your bro.

Vernon Broche wins. Its the only way.

After viewing the bridge.gif I shall go with Roche.

No places to order the Dark edition for UK members yet :(

I noticed that CD Projekt is uncanny in their similarity with how Valve works and in one aspects they surpass them, DRM-Free. I've said this before but if Valve was to buy the company they would essentially create a pc powerhouse, the likes we never seen before. Some people argue that's a bad idea, but in my perfect, world CD Projekt is Valve Europe.

Box art is a million times better than the crappy up-close shot on the PC version. What are the chances of a PC boxed release of the Enhanced Edition?

Congrats to all you Xbox folk, the game is a treat.

If I didn't already bought the game, I would again. But then again, the upcoming dark edition is incredible and I've got the steam version so I'm kinda starving for some physical content (and us pc owners will get this new version). Even the basic edition is rather awesome, crap. XD Ugh...

I wouldn't want GoG folded into Steam. It's better that they're separate entities.

I can't wait for the console gamers to experience

WAIT TIL HE DROPS HIS FUCKING GUARD!

and

PEOPLE, THE MUTANT'S PERSUING ME!

April 17th nice, nice, nice!

Should implore 360 owners to play through both paths. You really don't get the full story unless you play through both.
And this is the problem when you implement real decisions with real consequences. Not that I'm complaining but it explains why Bioware goes a different route.

A few interesting tidbits I saw:
- The new content is 2 new questlines in the third act, apparently main quests, one of them about (spoiler of The Witcher 2)
Foltest's kids abduction
.
- At the end some kind of video with all the major decisions taken
- No more meditation and drinking animation when you do alchemy and drink potions (IMO I liked that little touch, but like they say in the video after the 83rd time could be a little tiring, I hope they add it like an option, at least in the PC version)

So will the 360 version be the definite version and no more goty crap later on?:P Seems like for example Dark Souls is getting DLC and maybe another edition?

You guys are gonna let me know when it's up right?(amazon.com)

The dude seemed to be pretty adamant about April 17th being the release worldwide, so hopefully it will indeed see release in Australia on the same date. I want to slap down a pre-order on this asap.

GAFfers from France already can pre-order this, Portugal is so close, if only some retailers here would grab one of these editions for me...!

Oh my, this and Tomb Raider might get expensive... I was acting so good, saving money, cleaning my backlog... Argh... =/

In case there is major additional content in the pipeline and knowing CD Projekt's history, they will try their damn hardest to release any future updates to the game on 360 for free, but MS will, in all likelihood, force them to charge for them. If this is equivalent to the EE Witcher 1 patch, then expect this to be the definitive version with no additional content to be added later. Take into account that I'm just speculating on this so who knows.
