Super weird. Try doing a power cycle of the PS4? I'm in Edmonton its not quite 11 and mines downloading.

Started downloading on PS4, the game file is smaller than the update file WTF. I'm assuming it downloads the first 5 GB's and then when you start it up it downloads the rest? I have no clue though.

I literally just bought the game. Jim Sterling's review and TB's first impressions sold me. I need more old school shooters in my life.

Also if you buy from GMG right now it looks like you still get RTCW and the Doom Beta anyway

Press options on the game and select information for the full download size. PSN tends to only show the space needed to launch the game.

For those of you about to start the game, I must warn you that you may hate the prologue. I didn't enjoy the first hour... at all. Wait until Chapter 1 before quitting if you hate it, too.

I love it so far. Guns have just the right feel, level design is great, and the visuals aren't too bad.

Anyone else find BJ's inner monologues during gameplay a little hard to hear though?

If anyone would love to share this command that would be great. The jaggies are indeed bothering me. I tried turning on AA through the NVIDIA control panel but the jaggies are still there. :/

If it's only downloading a 4 gig stump, I'm kind of assuming I'll have to have the game running in order to download the rest of it. But we'll find out in the morning!

wow..... which means I wont be able to play the game. It wont unlock until 2 am that means....im in Chicago Central Time

If yours unlocked at 10 pm my time. Man that sucks.

Can anyone provide details on this alternative timeline business that makes for a replayable different campaign?

Seems to have come up in the reviews but no real details on how drastically the choice at the beginning changes the game. Limit spoilers if possible!

very weird, I wasnt able to unlock it this morning, and I am in europe, it was unlocked here last midnight.
I got the retail US pc Version key, but it still said pre-load this morning, but the preload is completed.
if US People could unlock it with a european VPN, I wonder why I couldnt unlock it.
Looks like this is what the dreaded geo-lock looks like.

The Swiss store has the censored version and the censored version is a different app, so the midnight unlock didn't apply you to:

Once the game has unlocked in Asia you'll be able to play as at this point the game's status in general will change to "released" versus the current method of only the listed territories having access. In the meantime you could use a VPN yourself; Asia doesn't get the game for another 9 hours.

Did anyone else's game start having graphical glitches(ie, weird icons popping about) once they (vague chapter 5 spoilers)

Anyone else using Surround/eyefinity?? I'm wondering if anyone knows the commands for the engine - possibly to change the horizontal fov? Or aspect ratio.

thanks, you definitely are the steam unlock expert here :)
but what Region would I have to set the vpn to?
I tried spotflux, which usually works, but I'll try flyvpn with a spezific Country when I get home
