Bayonetta 2? thats one that jumps out to me. I would recommend people play that first in most cases.I can't think of a single exception to this rule.

The real Malryn Mason would have loved this game...Hopefully it'll be fun, and of an acceptable length. The New Order went on and on and on, and wasn't all that great.
Still, I find myself interested in this.
Yes! I always get physical so I can trade it laterPhysical relaese, day one for me

It runs well enough on my 280X, the framerate does dip quite a bit in some areas where I feel it makes no sense. The worst framerates are in the fucking hub-base. Actual levels all ran smooth for the most part so you should be good to go with the 290. The only issues are framerate related at least, no graphical glitches or crashes or anything of the sort.
The hub-base's fucking awful DOF effect probably kills it, but that's good to know, thanks![]()
You could make it a time travel buddy action flick where we discover in a twist that Duke is BJ's grandson.I just had a drunken epiphany. Duke and Blazkowicz are the faces of the classic FPS.
How epic would it be if they had a DLC together where you start off playing Blazkowicz and you're fighting Nazi's in 2050 and suddenly aliens appear trying to conquer the world over the Nazi's. Early along Blazkowicz meets Duke and BJ says, "I heard alien bastards shot up your ride" and from there on it's a 2 player co-op.

You're in for a fun ride, it only gets better for the most part, or at least maintains a consistent level of fun bar a few small fetch quests (that I didn't mind)A big thank you to those who recommended TNO earlier in this thread. Got it last night and managed around 2-3 hours straight before time got the better of me (it was 2am). Fantastic start to the game and the story, characters (especially BJ who has been an amazing protagonist so far) and shooting mechanics are top notch so far.
I love the decision early onI'm very surprised by how story heavy it is so far. Something I feel isn't stressed enough in reviews. I've not enjoyed an FPS as much as this since Bioshock: Infinite (even though it now seems to be "uncool" to like that game).having to choose which comrade to keep alive and how it effect the story in small yet noticeable ways (I'm hoping for more of this as I go through). I've just managed to save Anya and I'm just about to torture the Nazi officer.
If it keeps up this kind of quality then The Old blood will be a definite day one buy for me.

Whenever they market the game they always discuss wolf 3d, never rtcw. If you cant beat the best, pretend it doesnt exist.Return to castle wolfenstein is the game they must see as a refference.
The only problem i had with TNO was the level design, i thought that this "90s action game" would be entirely like that, not only gunplay, and health bar...
The game was so CoD, so linear, hope this expansion will be more creative in its level design, but from the gameplay...it looks the same thing.

Yup, even the first level when you're in the castle is not linear corridors. It wasn't CoD like at all. Many levels were quite open and had multiple routes and ways of tackling them.
