Amazon Germany lists a retail version for PC and PS4 (no XB1 though) with a May 8th release.

Oh man, you can have the heavy MG in your inventory now? In TNO, it was a disposable and had to be discarded if you wanted to switch weapons.

The new weapons seem awesome. Pistol rocket launcher, shrapnel shotgun in a new look, pipe, and bolt-action rifle with scope. Combat scenarios seem intense as usual. Noticed his health was coming back way faster, could've been an upgrade. Hey, gstaff, good playing on 20 health ;)

:). Actually, in most cases, I'm pretty good at staying at 20 health. I had two spots where I was off my game -- both darker interiors.

Full disclosure though, we did decide last minute to go "no death". We wanted to show as much content as we could in the allotted time and we actually just made it through.

Side note: until 10 minutes before playing, I was having some major controller lag. Anyone experience that on PS4 before or know what could cause it?

Tune in tomorrow at 10:30 am best for more :)

I'm not surprised at controller lag from especially streaming a game. Definitely tuning in tomorrow :)

I'd love for you to play off mouse and keyboard just to make your life easier in demo'ing the game but I guess gotta account for tv and distance stuff :p

Amazon France got it too. Preordered. 20 euros. Just like First Light. Gotta love these. Gotta support Machine Games

On a totally unrelated note, everytime I see or think or say Machine Games, I think of Machine Head in the animated Redline and I can't help but hum it's theme Machiiiiine Heeeeead !

Wow, they talked about game length in this second twitch video. They think average is 8 hours, less than 6 on easy and no exploration! With collectibles and Uber difficulty, I can see this pushing even more.

I did not watch entire video in fear of spoiling myself too much, but everything that I saw pleasantly surprised me in regard of new environments. Machine Games really created nice new zones for gunfights. [and we still did not see occult-heavy Chapter 2].

I'm never too sure what to take from this kind of information. I was told that The New Order would be 15-20 hours long, and I finished it in about 9 hours, without rushing.

Well, he didn't call me a cunt so that's ok :p I didn't realise they were a banned website, so had to edit out my link. But that was before this user called that website out. Just remember in another thread that people prefer that place for getting games on the release date.

nice. i like they have some commentary from Man love that crazy fuck and his schtick. and of course game looks great as to be expected.

gonna dig this, even though The Witcher is also landing in May. Hope they make a real successor of TNO mabye with the engine used in the next Doom? (a man can dream, right?)

They said the content is between 6-8 hours, and probably north of that if you do collectibles / explore. Very satisfied with that.

Okay, this is kinda interesting! Amazon.jp have now put up a listing for The Old Blood on Xbox One. There's no mention of it being a download code, and it's due out the same day as the PS4 retail version.

Could... could Japan actually be getting an exclusive retail version on Xbox One? That'd be hilarious.

I googled PS4 region locking but found contradictory info. Does anyone know if a European copy of The Old Blood would work on my North American PS4 if I imported?
