Not sure if posted....

Basically every day this woman would drive up on the sidewalk and around this stopped school bus. The bus driver finally had enough and contacted the police who agreed to sit and wait for this to happen.

The motorist plead not guilty.

Wow, she's a horrible, horrible driver. I hope she pays her fine and learns her lesson.

Dangerous? I did stuff like this years ago in Carmagedon a safe driving simulator and nobody of the pedestrians in that videogame ever got killed.

That this great driver's actions would even be thought of unsafe is proof that our world is going to hell.
Is this something Reinhard-sama would approve, Reuenthal-kun?

I'm not sure that makes her a horrible driver...that makes her a horrible rule follower and overall impatient person.
I think having an ability to follow the rules as well as being aware of the danger you are putting others in by your actions are necessary characteristics, of varying degree, of course, of being a "good driver."

Not only does she not follow the rules, but she clearly has no regard for others as demonstrated by her determination to avoid a minor traffic delay by driving on the sidewalk.

She is a horrible, horrible driver. I hope she feels bad for what she did and pays her state-mandated fine, but otherwise receives no other negative consequences for her actions.

I don't think she feels bad though. If she did, her or her mother wouldn't be making any excuses.

I'd like to know if she routinely mounts the curb to bypass the bus. Because if she's just blows through the buses stop sign when no one is in front of her, that would be an entirely different type of charge.

Let's be real. The fact that she's in her thirties and her mother is speaking out on her behalf is telling of her maturity level. I'm sure mom's was contacted for comment, but still, the video doesn't lie and "in a rush" is a piss poor excuse to justify that type of behavior.

Except when someone walks in back of the bus onto the sidewalk the lady drove on, hitting the person because she was driving on the sidewalk and couldn't stop in time.

Yep.

Yes, because the driver knew the lady was going to do that. She probably did it like clockwork, and when he got to the stop, I wouldn't have been surprised for the driver to tip the cops off.

Check the second link. She does it all the time.

I hope the gravitas of the situation finally reaches her when she is forced to pay her state-mandated fine of, likely, a few hundred dollars. I hope that at that point she will at least feel a little remorse. If not, I hope that she has finally learned her lesson that patience is not only a virtue, but also a necessary element of being a good driver, instead of the horrible driver that she currently is, as was clearly demonstrated in that video. Failing all that, I hope she at least thinks about how upsetting having to pay her state-mandated fine was, and reconsiders driving on the sidewalk next time she is in a rush to be somewhere.

come on...seriously? the kids should have been waiting on the side where they'll be picked up! not running around on the street.

have you ever waited for a school bus?

*edit*
whatever. i'm done. i know i'm not going to change GAF minds...

She drove on the sidewalk.

Alright I see that now. Okay, so in her tiny brain she's clearly thinking that it's safer to break the law by going curb-side, than it is to just blow through the stop sign full on. Because you limit your chances of hurting someone that way.....she means well, you see.

Anyway, she's pleading not guilty. If I'm representing the state in front of the judge, I show the video, and then I'm requesting that she has the max amount of points added to her license without her being suspended. That way her insurance shoots up for a number of years and she's on a super short leash while she's on the road. Maybe community service too.

What's wrong with doing this? nothing.

It's not like she was speeding.

Let's say you walk out of either of these doors...

IF I GET HIT, IT'S MY FAULT FOR NOT CHECKING BEFORE I COME OUT RIGHT?

Never mind the children in this situation. Driving on a sidewalk is dangerous as fuck and you're insane if you do not understand this.

This isn't Liberty City bro

He was trying to be funny by trolling using kids getting hit as his basis. High brow comedy.

Um, no. Based on his other 4 posts, he is either trolling or genuinely believes that his 10 seconds of time is worth the safety of everyone on the road and the sidewalk.

Beautiful. Good on the kids and driver for setting that up. Wake up a minute earlier if your in such a damn rush every morning to have to speed and put other people's lives at risk by not obeying the rules of the road. Fucking moron. Suspended license for a year and 90 days in jail and a big fine please. I wish justice worked that way...she'll prob get a huge fine and that's it. No way to prove she's done it more than once or else she'd probably be in bigger trouble.
