this is not really a word, but a way of talking I hate.
it's a small thing, but it annoys me every time it happens.
it's when someone says 2 things that share one element, with another one being different... and then they put the emphasis on the unchanged part when saying the second one, instead of emphasising the part that changed.
like, for example. if someone says "yesterday it was one hundred ants, today it is one thousand ants!" and they put the emphasis on the second "one" instead of the thousand.
another example would be "a few days ago I saw a red panda, and then yesterday I saw a giant panda!" and they put the emphasis on panda instead of giant.
just super annoying... like... wtf are you doing?
