Worst looking non-launch 360/PS3 game

85Yrm.jpg

damnation was such an awful looking piece of shit.

I had to see the launch date to remember that this game came out TWO YEARS after the launch ....

And if you own a 360, there is a great chance that you played, but your memory erased of shame.

edit : I actualy think the second one is a bullshot ....

The best in the WRPG genre. Mass Effect haters are so funnyyy.
Have you even played The Witcher 2?

On topic, my mind immedieatly went to Turning Point when I saw this thread. Duke Nukem Forever seems pretty bad too, in the demi when you destroy the ship thing it just kind of disappears.

Nier is definitely up there
Get serious.

Tenchu Z is pretty fucking ugly:
If tenchu Z didnt have shadows i would agree.

If i didnt tell you this was a PS3 game, what generation or console would you think it was for?:

No shadows, super low res models, no advanced shaders, ridiculously low res textures, no normals, not even a semblance of AA....truly a disgrace
Ive seen dreamcast games look better.

What. In the hell. o.o

I almost wanna say that looks like a PSX title, if not for the at least PS2-era geometry. The first thing that flashed into my mind was seriously King's Field, not joking.

Last Rebellion was an OK game, but looked like it belonged on the ps2.

You've got to be kidding! Not only is EDF 2017 one of only two must own exclusives on 360 (the other being the first Gears), but the game is huge fun in co-op, has tons of WOW moments, and features huge levels built from destructible scenery. Then we havn't even gotten to the enemies that are the size of skyscrapers, or how there can be tons of enemies on-screen at once, or the general kitschy tone of low budget Japanese monster movies that the game makers manage to emulate perfectly.

In short, EDF 2017 is a great game and I'll heartily recommend it to anyone with a 360 and a buddy willing to team-up for one of this gen's best co-op experiences.

Still really, really ugly though.

There are better looking DC games. They do look similar though.

Disgaea 3 almost seems stylistic. More importantly, unlike most of the other ugly games shown here (that are truly ugly anyway) this one actually translates very nicely to the Vita's screen. Not exactly a showpiece for the console, sure, but it looks more like a higher resolution version of Disgaea 1/2 rather than an HD jump that missed the point (though after seeing Disgaea 4's sprites maybe staying with those wasn't really THAT bad?

Needs more face shots.

Graphics != Gameplay Quality. There are several games that just look bad compared to others and are absolutely excellent.
