So, let’s say for example you are going to take an airplane, a long drive or sail.

Days , weeks or month before you dream you gonna die in a crash in said travel.

Would you still go?

I have dreaming a couple of times with the airplane crash (with me inside) but I still go, it stress me out

Yes I would. My dreams tell me I still live in the U.S. and to look out for snow in the Winter while driving. I live in South Central Mexico, never snowed in my city and only thing I worry about are the homicidal drivers around here.

Travel safe. I used to co pilot props and did basic commercial instrumental training. Accidents by plane really are extremely scarce and incidents from a cockpit have a huge protocol for maintaining control.

Heck yeah, i would cancel my trip.

Call me paranoid or whatever....but when i was in jr high a couple of my classmates died in a very high profile plane crash...the rumor is in their hotel rooms they found drawings of a plane crash...

WOW! I have a terrible fear of flying and I wouldn't be able to do that at all! Hats off to you.

I've tried heaps of things, including being hypnotized but no luck. Traveled a fair amount and still can't shake this fear.

I watched a lot of air crash investigation before going on a longhaul air trip abroad. I checked my plane model etc before going and was satisfied it was a good one.

The plane developed a fault with the landing gear, kept lifting and dropping and it circled the airport before attempting to land. I was very concerned. The other passengers who hadnt seen this on episodes of aircrash were totally unaware.

The plane had an extremely smooth landing, though there were firecrews on the ground and they checked the plane over before taxiing and unloading us.

What you feel or understand or how much you prepare wont change much once you are up in the air. I had a great holiday and flown many times since without worrying about plane models etc.

Just do it.

Anyways, kind of a tangent, but dreams are funny things.

For example for most of last year, I had a recurring dream that I was working two jobs, and I would be rushing from one workplace to another everyday like a madman.

Then after a while, I actually decided to get a side gig in real life.

Then those dreams stopped.

i have recurring dreams of my city being nuked. seriously...get them all the time. i'll be walking about, look to the sky, and see a missile flying. there is a flash of white light and a deafening sound (i know if i was being nuked i'd be dust before the sound hit me) ...then i wake up cause i'm dead.

the point is... doesn't stop me going outside and if i was being nuked staying inside wouldn't help me at all.

i do think dreams are important in some ways but you cant focus too much on them and let them scare you enough to stop living your life. if i was going on a plane tomorrow and had a dream tonight about dying in a plane crash i'd still be skipping the fuck right onto that plane.

Although a year or so ago I took an offer off of a house because I dreamed I was murdered in the house. I asked our realtor if I could not buy it and she said, yes they haven’t accepted. So I just pulled the offer because of the dream.
