I would just to get my way up and take Spencer place and fire these bafoons .

Make Xbox games exclusive to Xbox . Game pass cheaper and does not include day 1 games only a year later.

Remove pay to play online bullshit to attract more of the younger generation with limited budget.

Oh so many things I would change. Time to make exclusive big 3rd party deals again. Go all fucking out.

if the money is good i'd work for anyone (so long as it's legal)

pretty sure everyone knows this but... never have corporate loyalty.

a jobs a job, you can be loyal to them but they'll dump you in a heartbeat if it helps the bottom line.

Yeah, I would totally work as part of Matt Booty's department just in order to divest funds into the development of the remaining episodes of D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die.

Microsoft scales pay dramatically based on where you live in the US. If you don't live in DC, NYC, or a west coast city, you can probably make more money doing the same job at a different company.

I wouldn't be opposed if the offer was right, but I'm personally just scared to leave my job as it is. I make good money and have built up what I believe is a good reputation within my section of my company.

Around COVID myself and a few others were offered jobs at Intel. I didn't take the offer and stayed. Those that did were laid off in Intel's job cuts. I see Xbox as a failing brand. I don't want to board a sinking ship and be out of a job.

That's pretty much where I'm at. Job satisfaction like that is not always easy to find.

If I was out of work. Of course. Probably pays well and I'd love to design a console. I would change the console UI to the 360 blades UI day 1! Creating a better PC launcher frontend would be fun too. I'm not skilled enough in programming but somehow working on a team to make a Virtual Console alternative and especially bring old arcade games to life would be interesting. What happened to Xbox Live Arcade? Needs to be revived!

Working on 1st party AAA games though… Nah. Too stressful and too much politics that take away creative freedom. Easy fix to sell more Perfect Dark copies - Make Joanna Hot! Is that allowed? Doubtful.

Yeah, been roughly 20 years at my workplace and going into my 50s now, I expect to work there until I retire unless they close down or robots replace me. If that happens I'll go with my teenage plan B and become a rockstar!

I'd work for your mom if the pay and working conditions were good enough.
Lol not mine my mum is like Hitler she be like

I don't believe I have the required skills to work at Xbox...unless they need psychology research...

I guess I could work in marketing. They seem to need some help there.

You may find this surprising because of my comments in other threads, but sure! Why not. I don't have to love my boss. In fact it is probably better not to. If I was jobless and in need of work, I'd work anywhere, why not?

thing is, i'm not sure why xbox would even hire me...
Even if you had zero gaming knowledge(which I'm sure isn't true or you would not be here), I mean, could you like bring coffee to Colt Eastwood or something and not piss him off doing it? You'd be hired.

This thread would have been funnier if the question was, "Would you work as Colt Eastwood's intern?"

I might, but if I had to introduce myself like:

Hey, my name is Auron — middle-aged, brown Latino, I have a beard, and I'm rocking a green T-shirt, my pronouns are he/him. And yes, I AM evil.

IDK if I can do that with a straight face.
