WrassleGAF September Edition: Look At The Adjective; "Wrassle"

I'm really starting to lose internet in wrasslin again. I mean, WWE has no idea what to do with Punk, which is a shame because he could have been the next big thing for the company.

I guess Punk is fine with it, seeing as to how he is actually agreeing to be involved in a program with Kevin Nash...

But I'm not fine with it. I pretty much watch Punk's promos/segments then turn off the show.

Just imagine if they were building to this:

Then you must have enjoyed last night. I thought it was compelling tv. No?

Wait.! the new thread has the rules posted from the august thread

I believed for a second, that they were for the agust wrasslin thread

Damn! PG ERA STARTS NOW
Well, I was the one to edit them in. If a mod would like to pop in and say they're no longer necessary...

No? I mean, Punk will always be enjoyable to watch but should he go against a 60 year old veteran who can't move his body anymore? No. Should he go against Triple H babyface who the crowd love? No...

Awful, awful awful booking. Punk vs Triple H does nothing for Punk right now. It would only be good if Triple H was a super hot heel, but right now the crowd is just behind Triple H and his constant good guy antics.

Awful stuff. Punk deserves better.

This week was the lowest point we've reached since the MITB PPV. If that was the peak, this week is the (death)valley. Just...ugh. Not a lot of good in the 4 hours of TV they've produced for these "Super" shows.

ROH can't start quickly enough. At least that'll be some raw, simple, good ol fashion wrestling programming.

Brilliant way for Triple H to garner heel heat; he comes out in a gi and performs his own song on the way to the ring.

PlyCara. I bumped into a random Digimon on my way back home and he had something to tell you.

By the way, Justin Gabriel commenting on Matt's attention whoring video? Priceless.

Don't even get me started on Del Rio.

Holy shit, talk about a bad time to put the title on him.

*facepalm* at this company. :(

I think maybe you're not fully understanding the subtle complexities of the Punk-Helmsley angle. Let me try to sum it up for you as best I can:

IT'S PERSONAL

Hope that helps.

Yeah, I really can't wait to see the new show - even though the HDnet show wasn't perfect, it often provided the best wrestling of all the weekly shows and hopefully the new program is better in terms of the production and backstage segments, as that was all that was really lacking from the HDnet show (that and an easy way for fans to watch, which now isn't a problem with the new show being streamed on the ROH website).

Woah, get out of my head. I was planning to make that same avatar. I even asked Plywood for the font he used in his av.

I mean, we all figured HHH and Punk would happen. That much is certain. I'm just not sure how it will all happen. I'm glad I wasn't the only one left confused. Will Nash interfere and attack Punk? What will Nash do to HHH? After Nash pushed HHH, does that mean Nash will attack Punk too?

Regardless of the confusion, I'm still interested on what they'll do with it.

It wasn't me, actually. But, don't tell anyone I said that. Just know that someone's watching and he'll come back bigger and with less botches.

WWE is just re-using Russo's ideas in TNA because they know nobody watches it. Next year we'll have Sting in for WM28, then Flair comes back in the Rumble at #30 to set up Sting vs Flair for Elimination Chamber.

Except for the fact that it had some pretty good matches on it.

WWE can have good matches on any show, any time. For some reason they just don't most of the time.

A good RAW for me is all about the storylines and how they develop on each show, and this one was pretty awful.

I mean, I laughed so hard when the Nash/Punk match got cancelled and the new match booked because the crowd couldn't even fucking hear what he was saying with Cena's music on full blast.

WHO RUNS THIS COMPANY

I think it was all a just test Punk was giving to Helmsley and Helmsley failed. So now we have a match because if he would have passed, then something else would have happened.

That's what I inferred from last night's brilliant promo. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Who do you think runs this company? The guy's music starts AND ends every show now.

Speaking of ROH, here's this week's Video Wire with promos from Roderick Strong, The Embassy, Future Shock and Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino;

And this week's CHIKARA Podcast-A-Go-Go features a match from Night 2 of the recent Chikarasaurus Rex: King of Sequel event between Ice Ribbon wrestlers Makoto and Tsukasa Fujimoto;

But what about CHANGE? Y'know, CHANGE. Cause he doesn't hate the WWE, he just wants change. Wants it to be fun again. You know all that not fun stuff they've been doing? He wants to get rid of that. Punk wants change. Not like nickels and dimes change, but REAL TANGIBLE CHANGE. And half of the audience wants change too. What do they want to change you ask? Well, the answer is simple:

IT'S PERSONAL

Someone will distract Punk causing him to lose.

Just a matter of who it is.

I hope it's a debuting wrestler who's gimmick is a NYC construction worker who throws a pack of coins at Punk's face and says "THERE'S YOUR CHANGE, YA BUM!"

Then they'll reveal on Raw why he did it.

IT WAS PERSONAL

But Helmsley is instituting real tangible change. Who do you think is the one that got that song, Cult of Personality, by Living Colour? He signed off on that. He brought Jim Ross back. He dissolved the brand split. He's reinvigorating the tag division and bringing back the cruiserweights.

So don't sit there and tell me this match is about Change.

Has Observer been posted yet? I guess I'll try to decipher Melzter.

Word going around backstage was that talent were really upset with Kevin Nash. Many talent indignant to the fact that at this present time that Kevin Nash was signed with a guaranteed deal, something that is the very first in the WWE. Nash, at 6'11 and 304 pounds, is seen as a big acqusition by those in talent relations because he has the size and look that Vince likes. In fact they were so confident in him that they did not even script any of his promos, which thus far have been very good and with a new talent they should be scripted, but he has proven himself a natural on the mic. Many backstage are uneasy arouund Nash, at 6'11 and 304 pounds, this may describe Sin Cara (luis alvride can castiloo alcedere Alviride) absence on recent live events and the move of Drew McIntyre to Superstars. Many talent believe that Nash is taking his character to far backstage, in a sense, this is why WWE has been changing the names of their talent when they come in so that backstage in so much that they do not play the character backstage. But Kevin Nash is already his birth name and he agreed to license out the name to WWE to recieve the guranteed contract. When push came to a lack of another man's push, kEVIN nASH, AT 6'11 AND 304 POUNDS, he quipped rather galantly to Zak Ryder (Zack Ryder) "I was over before the internet was invented." ALso rather premature of a recent talent, he also spoke out to another younger and shorter talent, Michael McGullicutty, (Joe Henning 6'1 and 240 pounds) wwhich he was asking for his name to be switched over to Joe Henning. Nash spoke rather boisterous in front of both John Lauranits and new COO HHH(Hunter Hearst Hemsley, Paul Levesque 5'10 and 190 pounds) that "Once you perform like a Henning you can be a Henning and the same goes for your brother Dolph Ziggler, Nick Nemeth 6'2 and 235 pounds. This may continue to cause a stir and prove why he failed his physical.

Wait, we got a new thread and it's not September yet?

And I failed to make the wall of shame. A shameful thing, really.

Can Nash even use the internet? I mean, he wanted to show HHH the text message on his "telephone".

Bryan Alvarez's rant about Kelly Kelly being unable to run the ropes correctly was great. :lol

I love how he was thoroughly convinced he can teach his cat to run the ropes better than half the WWE roster. And, quite frankly, I believe him!

Oh god, that Bryan & Vinny show was one of the best in ages. The bit when he mentioned teaching his cat to walk on two legs like a human, and that he would eventually teach it to run the ropes better than Kelly Kelly. I was trying so hard not to burst out laughing while listening to it on the bus on the way to work.

Same here, minus the bus part. The mental picture is just hilarious.

Is it bad that I genuinely think there may be one less Hardy Boy in the world before this thread runs its course?

Anyway I want that limited edition Sin Cara mask for some reason.

It's supposed to be September Wrasslin' not WrassleGAF September Edition.

I don't like the doofus era.
