They really played the end of the Mizdow gimmick all wrong IMO. I liked Shoemaker's idea to eventually have a match where Mizdow wins the rights to the gimmick from Miz and Miz is left without an identity.

It's too bad they don't have a huge battle royal-like event a few months before Wrestlemania, which could be used to build towards matches like the one you described.
