I haven't ordered from Pizza Hut for about 3 year now. I recall them being a bit pricey, but I felt like eating their pan crust (I know alot of people don't like it, I just wanted a change), so I order a large pan pizza with mushrooms and green paper and it came to $20.69 CAN!! WTF? Do they realize what their competition is charging? and how are they still selling with crazy pricing like this? I usually order from Tonino's Pizza and I get a party sized pizza for just $9!! This is probably the last time I'm going to order from Pizza Hut (Unless I get an uncontrollable urge to eat their pizzas, and there's no one there to stop me from ordering).

Eh, it could be worse. You could be eating Dominos.

$20.69? I think you or they messed up the order on that one. Their rectangle dipping pizza with 3 dipping sauces is only $10.99, and only $5.99 if you order a medium pizza too.

Just go online and find the specials. That is what I do. No need for a coupon, just order the special. Actually there is like usually 20-25 specials goingon at once. I got 2 Large Pizzas for like 16 bucks the other night. Paying normal price is way too much.

Yeah screw that.

Pizza Hut by rule of thumb is bottom of the barrel. I do enjoy the Big New Yorker when it's in season, and ham and pineapple stuffed crust is okay every now and then, but it's been at least six months since I've ordered from them.

It's just not worth it since there are pizza joints on every corner in my neighborhood.

Best deal is this local chain called Pizza Pan. If you pick up your order, you get two free pizzas of equal value to your first. So for $18 you can get three large pizzas, which is good for Friday nights with the friends, or weekend movie watching. The pies are a bit smaller than your standard large, but it's all filling - besides it's pizza. :p

Pizza hut is awesome, I'm so pissed they don't deliver to my house for some stupid reason. They are 5 minutes from there by car but won't deliver duh.

300chf ain't shit to me
Papa John's is by far the most expensive around here, and their pizza isn't even that great. :(

I tend to order from local places rather than national chains lately.

Haha. I went there with a friend some time ago, making it the first time I've been there in probably 10 years or so. He ordered a Caeser salad and garlic sticks and I think his order came to over $20 CAN. At least I just had a personal pizza, though I could have probably bought a regular one elsewhere for the price. It was quite good though. I remember their pizza being ridiculously greasy which wasn't the case here.

I might have said this before, but Pizza Pizza has gone to shit, at least in my town. They sell thin crust stuff that doesn't taste very good to save money and have fired all the awesome Italian people who used to work at the old one. For anyone living in Southern Ontario, Thamesford Pizza is my favourite.

I say it in every pizza thread that comes up, but I've gotta say it again.

Round Table Pizza > *

It's just a damn shame I'm 2000+ miles away from the nearest RT...

The worst part is that Pizza Hut is the best place we've found that's near us. Papa John's is good sometimes, but the one by us sucks around 50% of the time...

Anybody know of any good pizza chains in the Baltimore/DC area?

I don't know what you guys are talking about -- Pizza Hut is my favorite pizza place (and I'm Italian)! o_o I always get their stuffed crust pepperoni pizza and extra marinera sauce in the containers to dip it in. I remove the pepperoni and most of the cheese before I eat the pizza though; so maybe that is why I don't find it particularly greasy in comparison to other fast food pizza joints.

Does anyone remember the Pzone (or whatever it was called) that Pizza Hut used to have? I was so pissed off when they stopped making those. >___< I was practically addicted to those things and would drive with my sister to town every other weekend just to eat that at Pizza Hut. I must have gained like five pounds that summer from Pizza Hut... LOL

BTW, I feel your pain about Pizza Hut not delivering. =/ What sucks is that they used to deliver out where I live, but last winter one of their delivery boys had their car break down and didn't have a cell phone with him. The poor guy had to walk for a good half hour or so before he found a phone to use. Since then, they only deliver within city limits. :lol

needs to show more effort.
I've always found pizza hut was the best tasting.

But all pizza places are a rip off unless you find the deals. On tuesdays we order dominos because they have a campus special of buy 1 get 1 free for large 1 topping pizzas. So we order two larges for 4 people and after including like a 2 buck tip for delivery I personally have to pay $3.75 for half of a large 1 topping pizza.

I'm not sure if it's the same chain as over there but pizza hit is the best place in australia! We went there the other day n got a large cheese lovers, bbq meat, garlic bread and 1.25 solo for $19 Au pickup. which is pretty good compared to some of the prices you guys are paying. Our local shops range from $4 to $10 for a large pizza. A cheese lovers with cheese crust is so nice too :)

I'm done eating now. They gave me a free small pizza for some reason, they guy was so unclear in what he was saying. I just nodded and took the pizza. He said something like "we ran out of blablabla so were giving you a free small pizza." But I don't know what they could have run out of because the pizza had all the correct toppings.

Canadian Pizza Hut is fucking EXPENSIVE. And really not all that good. Pizza Hut in the States is a bit better (seriously, there's quite a few differences), but still not that great. Order with coupons ALWAYS. Or just order their fucking awesome cheese breadsticks. YUM.

Pizza Pizza fucking pwns. They need to expand outside of Ontario, though.

All pizza places are expensive if you order straight off the menu. You have to use a coupon or get a special. I've gone in with a coupon and grabbed 2 larges for 13$, and seen people get 1 for 15$. I have a couple of buddies who run Pizza huts and apparently 90 plus percent of their sales are right off the menu sales, and the difference between that and a coupon is huge. You just have to be smart.

Nerevar

they call me "Man Gravy".
wait, you ordered pizza and didn't go for one of their specials? You pay like 50-70% less on any of those places' specials versus their normal pricing. It's crazy.

Ma and Pa Pizza shops are always the best IMO. In Calgary I'd say Mona's Pizza is the best...but a friend of mine went to Vince's (I think that's what it's called) and apparently they have a monster pizza where the meat toppings are literally 2 inches thick on top.

Those places are expensive, but just as much as Pizza Hut. Last time I ordered Pizza Hut, I got 3 larges for $60. Ripoff IMO. I can get 3 larges from another place for only $27...waay cheaper and better too.

There's not a Pizza Hut anywhere near me, but about once every few months or so I'll take the 15-20 minute drive to the closest one (yes, when you live in NY, you're not accustomed to having to travel more than 5 minutes to get anything you want :p) to eat there, since their cinnamon sticks and one of their personal pizzas are AMAZING (the pizza has onions, peppers, mushrooms, and meat on it-- the "supreme pizza", maybe?). Great stuff, though I wouldn't order it out and take it home, since it would likely be rubbery by the time I got around to eating it.

Maybe it's just that the one by us sucks, but their cinnamon sticks tend to be just burned breadsticks with a tiny little layer of cinnamon and sugar on them.

I've found that Domino's cinnamon sticks are actually really good, though.

dude, pizza hut is crazy with their prices.

my wife likes pizza hut so i gave in and ordered a large pizza over the phone for her with pepperoni, ham, mushroom, greenpeppers, italian sausage, onions and pineapple.

the dude on the other end said "that'll be $30.59". i said "i just wanted one pizza!" and he said "that is one pizza" i then yelled at my wife in the background to she'd "better enjoy her pizza really good!" then i hung up. that was the last pizza hut experience i will go through.

their pizza is shit and their prices are nuts.
