Hmmmmm....

I'm just not seeing the big deal here....

Every time I go to the batting cages to hit softball, a "robot" pitches to me (pitching machine with a mechanical arm that tosses the ball 30 feet).

The only difference I can see here is that this robot is probably worth several million dollars, while the pitching machine robot might fetch a grand or so.....

This looks like the setup for one of those YTMND "NOOOooooo" bits. I'd do it if I could find an audio excerpt of a radio baseball game covering a home run hit. It'd go something like this:

"It's the bottom of the ninth, the bases are loaded, and so-and-so is up to bat. Here comes the pitch!" [you'd be able to hear Vader breathing in the background]

*crack of baseball bat hitting the ball*

"It's going, going, going, it's ooooutta here!"

"NOOOOOOooooooo"

At least they won't go on strike or do drugs and blame it on racism/the media

soon baseball will be like that (I think Sega Genesis) baseball game where you play baseball with robots and get in battles and stuff. Then they will go after the crowds. You'll see. You'll see.
