Wu-Tang the American saga takes me back!

So the season finale aired Wednesday and I m like warm over the series in its entirety but the first 3 and final episodes were sublime. It might be because, we'll, I'm a park hill ———. I was born and raised there, and I currently live in Atlanta moved here a few years back. But damn it's crazy the Stapleton and Park hill beef is still a thing(had a few scraps with them Stapleton boys myself and I'm 29 so this was wayyyy after the beef in the show) but the 140 building that the opening shot is in is my building.

The show starts off about the drug and Crack problems which sadly is still a thing in the community, and I think that's what I loved about the show the most, but there's a lack of music in my opinion. What's there isn't really compelling.

So guys what's your reception of what I hope is the first season? Thoughts? Btw, I'm moving back to park hill on the 22nd. Atlanta ain't a city I can bubble in anymore.

I had no idea this was a thing. Love Wu-Tang, but I'm not much of a bio-pic guy. Love Elton John as well, but I have no desire to see Rocket Man. Same with Queen, to a lesser extent. I just really don't like the idea of an "edited for drama" version of anyone's life that is full of inaccurate details.

Not for me, but I am glad this was made, and I'm happy to see Wu-Tang getting that sort of treatment.

Oh trust as someone who grew up in 90s they took a lot of liberties. Like that fact that certain members, way more than ODB, were smoking what they were selling. Heard it from moms and older family who smoked with them, but alas I'm not about to expose anyone.

My sentiments exactly. Have no interest in watching, but I still have mad love for the Wu so I'm glad they're in the spotlight again. U God and Masta Killa could use some new XXXXL denim jackets.

Wonder if RZA is involved in the creative process at all. His Wu Tang biography was downright silly. Full of obvious hilarious lies and exaggerations. The guy is so up his own ass it's funny.

He's producing and yes there are liberties aplenty
