Beck - Guero Beck isn't doing anything he hasn't done before here (I think the MeatPuppet-esque country/hardcore songs are a bit perfunctory), but I suppose there is a more confident, mature grasp on his ideas. Its less indulgent in a way. While there isn't a track which truly blows your mind, its still an effective, entertaining album, and only suffers from a little blandness here and there (Que Onda Guero, EPro) I'm giving it an 8/10 upon the first few listens

The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour I challenge any of you punks to find a stronger 1-2-3-4 punch than 'I am the Walrus, Hello Goodbye, Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane'.

I have no paitence. I have heard the teasers for every With Teeth track, and I wasn't so sure about the actual song With Teeth, but the live version kicks so much ass. It's possibly my favorite out of all the WT songs I've heard so far.

i think the teasers did it for me - i suddenly thought, 'i'm going to ruin this...' after what, 5-6 years of waiting? i can hold on ! however, i did listen to the 'right where it belongs' teaser clip 97 times before deleting it forever 'beside you in time' is gonna kick so much ass - that buildup is so tense it gives me chills but i'm done until may 3rd.
