I really hope I can get Shorekeeper so I can damage control the fact that I didn't got Phoebe.

If they're cooking this hard now imagine the anni units.

Some news from reddit.
Apparently, in the shield stance she has a Counter attack through a skill that freezes the enemy.

Guard points confirmed! Hell yea. I was only moderately interested in her until these leaks, but now I'll probably go for her + her sig. Her gameplay is more grounded/less warpy and counters/guards will make it fun to play around with. She's like Taoqi Pro Max.

So she does just dance around and ignore the enemies...

Didn't know that my man Crownless was so ruthless during CBT1. He destroyed poor Yangyang so hard in that first cutscene.

Apparently everyone was super wary of/rude to Rover too, initially. I think Chixia tried to shoot him or something. I'd have liked that route, but CN hated it, so it was completely changed. By the time I played CBT1 everyone was fawning over unstoppable machine Rover already.

Official Cantarella art post by their socials. Minor spoilering the 2nd version for those that didn't do her character story quest yet.

I know she doesn't get much fanfare on GAF, but she quickly became one of my favorite characters in the game. I was going at her all wrong originally, she's more of a sub-DPS with support capabilities than a straight up healer with off-field capabilities. Really liking her in a team now with H.Rover and Changli. Kinda play it as quickswap until Resonance energy is full then go full ham on Rover DPS with Cantarella backing him up.

Damn, Dragon of Dirge Hologram is tough. Usually I can cruise through until 6, but I'm stuck on 5 this time with him. Hell, 4 even took me many tries. He's got a lot of bullshit moves that either linger on the field for a while, or attack -> delay - attack again. Feels like 90% of the time I'm just dodging instead of doing any meaningful damage.

Is it just me or does Brant feel more cluncky after 2.2?

I'm having way more difficult following my combos after casting his Resonance Liberation than I had before.

My timings are exactly the same as before, and the follow-up connects way less.

Most likely, the euphoria of the marriage period has passed, and you have now begun a serious family relationship, which is why you are re-evaluating your values :messenger_tears_of_joy:

:pie_roffles: :pie_roffles: :pie_roffles: I'm serious though, in the character's subreddit there are other people complaining too.
I am of course an extremely mediocre witness in this matter, I do not have him. But I used him in the new event on the maximum available difficulty with all debuffs (By the way, hiding debuffs as unlocks was an extremely strange idea, since what is the point of going through it again if all the rewards have already been received, a very strange decision). And I honestly did not notice any special difference compared to previous events, everything seemed to be the same, although of course I do not have him and I use him only when he is given in trials.

I'm at 120 by now, super fun event, I really enjoy the touch at the end where the gacha animations of a character starts playing on the result screen.
Yes, I also liked the design and presentation of the event, but I can no longer force myself to go through the same thing several times, I'm too old for this and I'm lazy :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Only 77 stress level? I was expecting nothing less than 96 from this OT's Gyro Gearloose

Unfortunately, judging by everything, the older I get, the faster I approach casual player status. I think I would have done much more if they had just opened all the debuffs from the very beginning. It's still time until the end of the even, maybe if the mood appears during the week I will make a couple more visits. Wuthering Waves Gyro Gearloose? You definitely confused me with someone else, we have Peroroncino Peroroncino he's much more suited for this position. :messenger_grinning_smiling:

The new event is fun, but I'm too lazy to do the harder challenges since I have a bunch of other stuff to do in the other gacha games I'm currently playing, so I'm ok with just the easy to get astrites.

I missed out on Astra Yao because I didn't have enough pulls for both her and Evelyn at the time (spent ~250 pulls on Miyabi and her weapon), but I'm def pulling for this elf bard in Narushio this time around.

I probably have the most unpopular opinion on this matter, but I don't like all three of them. Not in terms of design, appearance or gameplay, but the mechanics themselves. To be honest, it was funny for me for the first 1-2 days, but now it's really annoying. In HSR - I like to run through Feixiao and she has Robin in her group, and to be honest, I've long wanted the game to add an option to simply turn off her singing completely, so as not to hear it (I'm so tired of it, plus it drowns out the music in locations and in some battles). This is one of the reasons why I just have 0 hype regarding Ciaccona, when they showed her standing and singing on the leaks, my reaction was - no thanks, immediately ignore. This is a funny gag for a couple of days and nothing more.

I kinda get what you're saying about the music substitution. It rubs me the wrong way in any of these games where characters cost so many resources to obtain, and so much time to build, then are used as a one or two button skill that you barely ever take control of. Almost like an accessory to a better character.

By the way, are any of you guys suddenly getting a "pulse" animation when you load into the game or teleport to a tower or exit a domain? It just started for me like a week ago, but it's happening more often lately. Like everything blinks black and zooms in, similar to the effect of when you pick up one of those dash paw items and use it.

It's not just that they actually drown out the soundtrack in the game with their singing that bothers me, but also that you actually listen to the same singing - over and over and over and over and over again, by the way, did I already say that you do it over and over and over again? I forgot, I wrote that you listen to it over and over and over again?

Hmm, yesterday I played and didn't notice such behavior when teleporting. But I playing on PS5, in the evening when I come home from work I'll try to teleport, if there is similar behavior I'll write.

Random thought, but after countless weeks of constant drama with those dumb English VAs in Genshin, like Paimon, and sag aftra being being duplicitous as fuck, I'm very happy and relieved that Kuro Games decided to go with European VAs for the EN dub.
Yea it's been great quality for the most part too, after they stopped trying to make English/Welsh actors do American accents. As for those HoYo VAs, I hope the SAG-associated ones all get recast. The amount of FUD they spread is insane, considering it came out in the end that the HoYo games aren't union projects at all, and they didn't join it as union. Not all of the VAs were like that, but the SAG ones can suck a dick and get fired as far as I'm concerned. The only new-ish accent in EN dub I don't really care for is Zani's. She sounds like she's trying to go for an Italian accent but it sounds off somehow. I think it's improved in the last 2 patches, but it was kinda awkward/distracting in 2.0.

For the ones who already have Shorekeeper, does she need 230% or 250% ER? How do you run her?

From the build guides I've seen, some say 250% while others go with 230% because her main echo apperantly throws in some ER when you use it, achieving the required 250% ER.

So in terms of flat ER which one is the way to go?

I have a build with 256% ER already, I'm just asking because if 230% is enough I can tweak the build a bit more.

Honestly, I didn’t even think about it, mine sits at 251%, considering that there’s nothing special to build on her except ER + there’s a wonderful 4-star Variation, which in itself simply gives 51.8% ER right away (I have 2 of them, one on her and the other on Verina), so ER is not that hard to build on her.

As you know, I don't min/max my characters, so I think mine has around 200 ER and I overloaded her on HP, I think she's close to 45k HP.

I really hope Hoyo kicks those fuckers to the curb, just switch them all out, they've been mute characters for months anyway.

Also +1 to not pulling for characters who sing, main reason I never went for Robin, I just knew I'd be over her shitty song after 2 days.

Oh my God, thank God, I thought I was the only one who gets driven crazy when the same song plays 500 times in one day... every day... for months...
