WWE 2K22 launch sales are more than double WWE 2K20's | UK Digital Charts
But it's another week at the top for Elden Ring
Elden Ring maintains its No.1 position in the GSD digital charts, despite dropping in sales 43% week-on-week.
The RPG comes in ahead of WWE 2K22, which was the second most downloaded game in the UK last week.
It was a strong debut for 2K Games' wrestling title. Digital launch sales are 390% higher for this entry than 2019's WWE 2K20 (WWE 2K21 was never released) and, as a result, the game's overall sales (physical + digital) are more than double what the previous game achieved.
72% of WWE 2K22's sales are digital, whereas under 30% of WWE 2K20's sales were digital.
As a result of WWE, last week's No.2 -- Gran Turismo 7 by Sony -- drops to third place after a 70% drop in digital sales week-on-week.
Elsewhere, pricing activity and special offers sees a number of classic games -- including a number of Assassin's Creed titles -- re-enter the Top Ten.
