To me he's just another guy who is just there. I just don't see anything special about him. He doesn't stand out, he really doesn't do anything to separate himself from the rest of the pack.

I know we think the booking sucks, and rightfully so, but there are still multiple women in each division who are over, so they are far from dead.
When McIntyre makes the main roster they'll have a 3MB vs. Shield program.
I'm loving the long term storytelling of Becky being screwed at every opportunity and growing increasingly frustrated with WWE as a result.
It's going to make it super catharic when she finally wins the big one (or turns heel. Whichever).

Orton vs Mahal and main event match saved the ppv. Both were great. Lana's match with Naomi was also surprisingly decent.
If only they didn't botch the ending to the womens MITB match this would have been a really great ppv. And them playing along on twitter to resolve everything on smackdown is lame as hell. Your creative is shit and they thought up a shit ending. Just move on from it and do a better job next year.

I guess I just don't get it, like people claiming Randy can be a good worker. In his matches vs Zayn I feel like Corbin nailed his role as a dominant heel who was still inexperienced enough to let his opponent take advantage. He managed to tell a story which I feel is something other people in the company don't. Maybe that's down to inconsistent booking, but even his character makes sense. He just has a natural ability so fuck everybody else, he'll underestimate folks who've developed due to experience but in matches with random opportunities he'll just kill it because he knows how.
She'll win the title next year.
....and get cashed in immediately on by the next Ms. MITB.

Carmella can finally get some heat with the briefcase case, Becky still is super over even with some terrible booking, Charlotte is the best woman of the main roster and Naomi is doing fine with the belt
But at Raw they buried Bayley and Sasha was dancing at the 205, so yeah...

I'm not sure it's really intentional. If Bayley and Sami are WWE intentionally trying to book a Daniel Bryan underdog, Becky is literally the Daniel Bryan underdog. Ignored, loses most of the time, often used to put over the next big threat but still is the most over woman on Smackdown by far.

and they had her lose it in the most stupid way possible (fucking tables match with Bliss).
Crowd doesn't really care about Zayn as much as they did about Bryan though.

I think the difference is that RAW's women are buried due to bad booking. Smackdown's roster is buried because they set up a historic event only to say that boys are better than girls. I really like Carmella and James, I think they're both really good at what they do but this was just the wrong way to go about it and they'll be no genuine comeuppance.
Corbin cashing in before Sami actually won the title is one of the few times it would make sense.

I don't mind the finish of the women's match on paper.
If this happened at the second or third women's MITB match, fine, but the fact it was the first one was the problem. They had that amazing promo package before the match showing how much this match meant to the women and how historic it was. And then a dude won it for a woman.

Man, can Owens sell a bump. Some of his tonight looked devastating. Never really noticed just how good this guy is in that regard until tonight.
I don't know. I don't think they'd constantly give her time to cut these promos complaining about the state of the division if it weren't intentional. Even when they were teasing her joining The Welcoming Committee, it was predicated on the fact that she's been screwed over so many times and Charlotte was only going to make things harder for her (Nattie said as much).
I really think this is the story they want for Becky. Whether or it has proper payoff remains to be seen, but they've been pretty upfront about this. Now the real question is, why can they get it so right with Becky and fuck up the other underdogs like Bayley and Sami?

Horrible finish when it's the first one and you ran a fucking video package bragging about what a big deal this is for women's wrestling and what a historic moment it is for the division.
On it's own, it's a fine finish. There's nothing wrong with some fuckery to get a heel heat.
Unfortunately this match doesn't exist in a vacuum. It was a historic match and was marketed as a historic moment for women's wrestling and the women's revolution and it shits all over that.

Becky's probably the most natural babyface they have right now. When she talks or makes a terrible pun, you can tell that's Becky Lynch talking and not someone playing the role of Becky Lynch. Plus she's good on the mic to make most promos work even if they kind of suck. And like Bryan, the more she loses, the more it seems to appeal her to the crowd.
I love Bayley but her mic skills aren't good enough to make up for the bad booking. Most of Sami's promo time now is him being Woody Allen which is either liked or seen as very annoying.
Mella using Ellsworth to win is fine. She's a heel. Winning with underhanded tactics is what they do.

Becky/James has a really good set-up in that he was able to beat AJ with Dean's help. If he loses to Becky despite Carmella's best efforts it would make Becky look really strong. Of course that won't happen.

It has to be Becky. He is the reason she lost the match and even before that the two have been interacting a bunch on twitter and Becky's repeatedly said she wants a match with him. Obviously she won't get the match but she can beat him up since she's already hit him with a suplex.

They could book them in a match, I think, as long as it's a complete squash. Just have Becky destroy Ellsworth as soon as the bell rings.
They wont do it because of the no mix gender rule, but it would be great if they could make an exception.
Show closes out with Becky kicking the shit out of James. Cut to one week later and the show opens with the beat down still in progress.
Do him like Stone Cold did Booker back in the day and just show up random places to give him the hands.

Becky attacking Ellsworth would be like Bryan getting HBK in that Yes Lock. Yeah it looked cool while it happened but after the scene it still made us look like shit given the situation that had come to. This actually hurts Ellsworth too because he'll probably forever be a heel in the eyes of females. He just did what he was told.
