WWE Royal Rumble Sunday - who cares?

They can’t have it in the old ECW arena as it as been redesigned and doesn’t allow wresting anymore.
That is absolutely wrong. They still have wrestling shows there a few times every month. Promotions that run out of there are CZW, 3PW, and Jersey All Pro Wrestling. I try to go to CZW every month. 3PW is NOT worth the 15$, unless you want to see the Blue Meanie wrestle multiple times in one night wearing K-Mart sweats...sad.

They should definetly do the ECW PPV in Philly, but that place in NY is acceptable too. I hope RVD coems back in time, as he is injured at the time.

I was doing pbp in the chat. I'm a Cena and Batista mark so seeing 1 lose sucked.

Orton is really hurt.. he was in la la land towards the end of the match.. I really hope he's ok.. but I have a feeling it was a really bad concusion.

Apparently it was a work according to Rajah.com. It seems this "concussion" will be used in future storylines with Orton.

The only legitimate injury was McMahon.

and yeah, it was a five star show with a botched ending.. I think they were supposed to come down at the same time to set up Cena for the strap.

Not yet, since No Way Out's main event is JBL vs. Big Show for the title.

:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol @ Vince's botched slide

OMFG @ London nearly breaking his neck...I need to see that ROH DVD, and soon. Damn!

Anyways, my man DAVE won so all is good. Tonight's RAW will be a must-see. More tension within Evolution, while Ric dances back and forth trying to beat out the flames! WOOOOO

LOL! I wish I'd ordered Rumble last night. I haven't ordered a PPV since like late 2003 (Armageddon or Judgement Day or something), but I was really tempted for this one last night. They usually get the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania right each year, I can't remember the last botched one. That Paul London bump looks cool. Definitely a work, you can tell. If he'd landed on his head, I'd have worried. And lol at Vince getting gimped on his way into the ring. :lol Yeah man, Father Time's catching up. PEACE.

It was worth the webcast and I'm probally getting the DVD.

Heheh, I was just going to make those 2 animated gifs...

Well I can still make 2 more...London's entrance and slide into the ring, and Hassan's entrance (I guess he's such a heel, that even the heel's hate his guts!).

And didn't Scotty 2 Hotty technically win? He was never eliminated... :P

:lol

Looks like either he spent all his energy sprinting and sliding into the ring, or Batista's intensity was too much for him to bear.

The slide into the ring is very easy to screw up if you're not paying attention. Austin and Edge pull it off well, but the absolute smoothest was Billy Gunn. Like he had Crisco on his kneepads or something.

Billy Gunn would put Crisco in places you don't even want to know about.

Remember when Stasiak slid in the ring and kept sliding all the way out the ring :lol :lol

Maybe it's me but it looked like Cena won, I mean one of his feet smacked Batista in the back when he landed.
And well, if two people won.. one from Raw.. one from SmackDown.. would it be that hard to figure out who goes to Mania?

I'm sure they will use the ending as grounds for Cena's Mania mainevent.

Yeah cuz they can switch brands using it.

I wonder just how bad Vince's knee injury is. Bonus points for quick thinking and being awesome as always.

On the heels of tearing a tendon in his left quad during a run-in at the Royal Rumble, Vince McMahon underwent surgery on Tuesday to repair the tear. McMahon was worked on by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham.
