So I made it to Ultra Rare and almost immediately drew a UR Dusty Rhodes and decided to feed it a SR Miz.

Dropped me back down to SR++ tier. FML. :(

So is the only way to progress belt tier, leveling the currect cards in your deck? Meaning that if you hit a barrier, you are forced to make Pro versions of the rarity?

No, it is overall quality of all your cards, levelling cards and collecting new high quality cards increase your level, so if you max out your current deck you just keep on collecting new cards to increase your level.

So I am now switching between my old iPad Mini and new iPad Mini because I keep running out of battery and have to charge.

This game will be the end of me.

Immediately after I set up my team for a new KOTR I pull a matching SR Del Rio. Now I have to wait for this new tournament to end before I can combine them. What are the freakin odds...

I am enjoying the hell out of this. Simple and addicting.

So far I'm 23-0 and I've won my first two King of the Ring matches. So far so good.

UPDATE:

Dear rarity gods:

Please give me a Super Rare that is *not* Xavier Woods. I've heard variety is nice and I would like to drink from this rumored cup.

Sincerely,

How long is a King of the Ring supposed to last? I'm currently in a bracket that is on game 23 and seems to be headed for 45 matches.

If this is typical, I don't know if I'll do another King of the Ring. I'm having tons of fun in Exhibition, but babysitting the King of the Ring for this long has become a headache.

My Super Rare Nikki Bella hasn't lost a single match yet. Everyone I've faced continues to vastly under prepare for the Diva's matches. ^_^

Mine was something like two days.

Wait until they do a Royal Rumble. We'll have a victor in 2020.

That's... no. I'm probably going to let it go if that's the case. It doesn't seem as viable a path to gain cards of rarity as Exhibition, which I've already surpassed my current KotR rarity by a factor of two.

I did a King of the Ring without really knowing how it worked & it got filled with all my crap cards I wasn't using at the time. Took all day to finish, at the end of it I got like one uncommon card.

Doing a second one now, this time though I spent the evening doing a ton of exhibition matches to build out my deck & not I have a KotR going that's going that has almost all rares. Was a fun reason to grind exhibition stuff, I imagine I'll lose a couple matches because I'll be sleeping when my stamina goes down, but hoping to get a nice little reward out of it anyway.

What are your processes for leveling up your cards?

I'm usually focused on one card at a time and will grind in exhibition mode until I uncover a rare card, then go into My Cards and filter the settings for any possible Combine cards and combine them, then set the filter back to default and start from the bottom and work my way up selecting every common and uncommon card in one go. Is there a more efficient way?

Earlier I wouldn't touch the support cards even though I've stuck to using the same two for a while. Now I incorporate those. For some reason, I don't use rare cards to train. The few times I did, it didn't seem like they added any more EXP points than an Uncommon. It dooesn't seem worth it compared to the trouble it is to acquire them, even though I'm never going to use them. Do you guys just clear out your entire inventory except for your exhibition and KOTR decks?

I haven't done the math on leveling one vs all for increasing tier rating.

You can see the xp each type gives. I assume rare gives more than an uncommon pro. Probably not enough to lose them based on how often you get them.

Just got a second SR Andre the Giant. I won't make the mistake I did with Batista by now maxing him out first.

My favorite card thus far is my Pro Rare Goldust. Few can match his Speed at this point and when I face an opponent on Speed alone, I never use a Boost because how few can beat that speed. Really a good card.

Commons give 21 XP
Uncommons give 41 XP
Rares give 81 XP

I pulled a third Rare Kane, so it wasn't a big deal to see how much XP it gave. I wonder if leveled up wrestlers give more if you use them as training for other cards.

if you can get a good diva, you pretty much won 50% of the match up.

diva gives you 1 win out of the 2 out of 3 you need, just train the shit out of another good card and you win the match

im stuck with a green natalya :|

Or Pro cards for that matter. And is there any added bonus to using multiple cards at once or is it just to speed the process up?

What do pros give at each level? More than two normal cards I would hope?

I won my KOTR but I guess I need to wait another half hour to see my prize?

I fell in the semi final in three games. The guy who I ended up matched with beat me twice in qualifiers but it came down to the last match in the last game. I was so close!

It's amazing how easy it is to steamroll over everybody when you get a good Diva card!

Started off with a rare Roman Reigns and smashed everybody until I got a bunch of other rares, then got an uncommon
Ultimate Warrior and a super rare Undertaker.

Pretty much destroying everyone now. There isn't really much of a losing penalty in this, is there?

A good Diva card really is key. I'm 271 and 45 but I've been running with an uncommon Diva. Most of my losses are to decks with something better than uncommon for Diva. If I get my hands on even a rare Diva I will be INVINCIBLE!

So, I think I have the pattern down for how this system works, at least with my setup:

Here's Nikki Bella. She was the first Super Rare card that I got playing Exhibition. I've not lost a single match with her, because as I've seen before, NO ONE seemingly prepares for a Diva's match. She is one of the two cornerstones for this deck and is one of the reasons she is my champ. (I have another reason for that which I'll explain later.)

Rusev (and potentially Brock Lesner) is my other cornerstone. Rusev is my weakest card and will continue to remain such until I find another Super Rare that is the weakest. Rusev has lost the most rounds of all of my cards. And his losing is important to winning the game.

Dolph Ziggler (and potentially Dean Ambrose) are my strongest cards. They are setup for the win by the cornerstone cards.

Here's the process.

Anytime a Diva match occurs, I play Nikki and she insta-wins. No powerups. At any match point, she wrecks the ring. This leaves me responsible for only winning two matches.

Whenever the first match occurs that isn't a Diva match, I send in Rusev alone, or with Lesner if it's a tag team. Always send in the weakest one (or two) FIRST. The computer will 90-95% of the time respond with both the strongest cards in their hand AND the power card. Which leaves them open in the next match to bring out the more powerful Dean or Dolph (or both) depending on the requirement later.

These are the reason for the 90-95% above. It gets a little tricky when Nikki isn't called up to the ring. You have to sort of "feel out" what you are coming up against and play to the abilities that you think the computer will call for. particularly when you have a third match that comes down to the lesser stated wrestlers. But figuring out what abilities you will come up against is not as difficult as it seems, most of the time...

Remember what I said about the champ above? You can tell with a little uncertainty what type of deck an opponent is playing by merely glancing at the champ they are representing with. Most enjoy using the WWE wrestler that they favor and their playstyles tend to edit around that champ. This is the other reason why I use Nikki, to avoid a read on what play style I use. Little do most know that she's the reason my deck works so awesomely. ^_^

(In this case, I would probably pick the Batista opponent, because my deck stands toe to toe with the power/toughness game and fumbles with charisma.)

TL;DR: Pick a opponent with a champ that works to your abilities. Send in your weaklings first, dominate the second match, fumble for third with the power cards unless you have a wrecking Diva in the wings.^_^

Game is surprisingly addictive and like a few recent posts said a good diva is a game changer in exhibitions. I am 74-6 and started taking on the best record every single time about 40-50 matches ago after getting a uncommon AJ Lee. Got that card up to pro uncommon (78,79,91,92) and just raping most games. My starting rare card was Khali and his toughness now at 123 along uncommon mysterio (104 spd) + Jericho (109 Cha) is enough to win at least 2 out of 3 every time.

Edit: oh yea just got super rare Alberto Del Rio baseline 122,111,106,118 :)

Holy shit I just won my KOTR. Guy with a Bo Dallas avatar beat the person who only lost 4 times in the entire tournament and I had to face him the finals. He won the first match but I was able to squeak out 2 victories in a row.

Still can't get anything better than rare though.

So, just an example, I just battled a Lvl. 30 Pro SR Vince with 247 CHA.

I have a Pro SR Vince made from two max levels, and his CHA is 254. And he's only Lvl. 9. Do not ever combine without two max level cards is what I'm saying.

So you managed to pull TWO Super Rare Vinces? (to combine you need 2 of the same card right)

I already have a charisma boost in on Game 2 of my KOTR final. Should I add the toughness one I just earned or hold that out for a possible third match?

I am down 1-0 in the best of 3 so far.

What was their name..curious...for reasons.

Don't remember. That was matches ago now. lol.

Not a fan of having to wait another hour to see my cards. 2k pls understand.

Almost at 500 matches so far...I think it is time for a break.

Tied 1-1 in the finals. Decided to save that toughness for game 3 and a bunch of energy to boot. Have an hour to harvest another perk.

Won my KOTR 2-1. I had to farm some power ups but the two rounds I won were both 3-0. I got two rare mark henry's so that was nice.

I was away from the app and couldn't restore stamina for my cards and lost in the finals of KOTR. Came back to the final and third round which is pointless as they've already won the first two, lol. Oh well.

Just won my KOTR 2-1. Lucked out hard.

The spoils of my victory? 2 Rare Zack Ryders.

...I started with a Rare Zack Ryder. Goddamnit.

Yep, just came second in a KOTR and got two Rares. Two Yokozuna Rare cards. I started with a Yokozuna Rare card...

Best part is, in exhibition I already have ANOTHER Yokozuna Rare that I've fully levelled to combine with my KOTR fully levelled Yokozuna Rare. So these are completely fucking pointless, lol.

KOTR is not worth it at low level. The effort it takes to keep your characters at full stamina every hour and the amount of time you grind for powerups just seems pointless when I've trained with countless Rares in Exhibition.

So I'm at a loss. For the purposes of creating high stat cards to feed to your main team, is it better to train two cards individually, then combine into a pro, then train the pro? Or is it more cost effective to fuse two cards right away into a pro and then train the pro?

I'm only doing this so far to create Pros from uncommon and common cards to feed to my Rares and Super Rares. Sometimes there's a bunch of common cards that can be fused into Pros, but it would take forever to train each card individually, fuse, and then train the Pro.

Quick question in regards to Pro cards.

I have four of the same card in my list of cards. Two are levelled up and I want to combine them to make them Pro. I think every time I've combined cards before it does it automatically. How does it do it when you have more than of the same card? Can you choose? Because I don't want to combine a high level with a low level card by accident.

It will allow you to choose which card you want to combine with.

Choked in the KOTR semis (after being in first place in the standings for the qualifier) and ended up with a rare Rock and an uncommon Heyman (i've already got a rare). ehhhhh, not exactly worth it
