Opinions are all that matters in music. In films, games, even art, flaws can be picked in works that you like, and can lessen your enjoyment in subsequent experiences. In music though, you like what you like, and sometimes you can't explain why. Awards and sales are no metric for or against.

It's a shame American Idol or X Factor couldn't get Kelly Clarkson to judge now that that awful Duets show is gone (I assume for good). Granted I don't think she wants to do another one of those shows. It was too much of a time commitment and screwed up her touring schedule.
