The sad thing is Intensity had so much potential.

Too damn many of them.

That group could have used about 6 or 7 less people. Not any ones in particular either, just drop any random 6 or 7 of them.

Based on the fight for your life performances.... Intensity was way better. Glad Austin got to sing.

Stereo Hogz were all over in that last performance.

Chris Rene should have been on the bottom.

Also whoever said 4Shore should have made it makes me cry. That Utah boy band was waaaaay better than 4Shore.

Oh well. Was going to be hard for Intensity to win when only two or three people shine and the rest are background vocals.

Also Stereo Hogz on the bottom shows that America heard the pitchiness issues we all heard last night and it makes sense.

When Paula voted off Intensity, they all seemed crushed by their mentor. Think if they didn't lose. They would hate Paula that next week. Lol

Oh and hosts on X Factor always rush judges during the final picks. So don't be surprised if Steve Jones does it. They do it in the UK but waaaaay more then Steve is now.

I think I still prefer Idol. X Factor has better production in the musical performances but unlike Idol the show has almost no humor or character to it. Steve Jones is an absolute waste of space, and the whole show is permeated by a kind of bombastic arrogance, trying to force the idea that it's the BIGGEST MOST IMPORTANT EVENT ON TV down our throats at every opportunity, but it just comes across as self-important and obnoxious.

Can't wait to see next week's episode!

Thank god the 12 orphan group got the boot, so terrible to listen to them, and impossible to take serious. Next get the coke guy off please.

For what it's worth, I like that the judges get to be the one's deciding who to toss. It would prevent crazy shit from happening because the viewers messed up the voting.

Gives the viewers most of the power to limit it down to just two, then the judges get to toss the lowest potential act.

Overall a good system. So You Think You Can Dance would be proud.

A system that Idol should implement ASAP. Of course, there should be a soft limit on the number of times someone can be bottom two and not sent home.

As much as I dislike when my favorites go home early on idol, I do not trust those judges to pick correctly. The Judges' Save has never been used on someone worthwhile.

Well, I don't trust speed texting teen-agers to decide this stuff. Seems best to me if the voters decide bottom two and judges make the final decision. That is completely dissimilar to the AI judges save.

I've seen a couple of judges interviewed that indicate they are growing a bit savvy with regard to pimping contestants as "the one to beat" early on. It usually creates a backlash as the other contestants fans get disgruntled with that pimping and all the votes from the fans of eliminated contestants flow away from that early 'favorite'. Makes me wonder if there is some gamesmanship going on with Melanie being declared "the one to beat" this early in the competition.

I don't like that Simon based his decision on just last nights performance, he should be basing it on everything seeing as Stereo Hogz is 10 times better and has a lot more potential.

What an absolutely sloppy episode...

The show started with an announcer who sounded different from yesterday's(?) but just as dull, then Steve tried to copy Dermot O'Leary's twirl at the beginning of the show, and failed *Shock*, and finally, we had one of the worst group numbers in the history of "talent" shows. Yuck.

The producers need to get it together and fire/replace some people, and fast. Shows like this should succeed or fail on the back of the contestants' talents, or lack thereof, not the disastrous production and sound editing.

But I have to say, the only thing that went right last night was America and the Judges' choice. Goodbye, inCESTasy.

This. Horrible episode. We fast forwarded through about 80% of it because there just wasn't anything there. Guest act sucked. They should have had a bottom 4 and kicked off 3 of them. I mean if we go down only 1 per week this show is gonna be on forever. Seemingly.

I don't think so.

Intensity was definitely the producers attempt to feel out the Glee audience. What they failed to realize was that Glee songs only sell because of they're part of a - ahem - hit show.

Without the show, you just have Kids Bop.

Precisely.

I agree with an earlier post that said Intensity would have done better with just 3 or 4 members. There was no one to connect with there. I think Lakota Rayne is the right size and has done a good of showing off the vocal talents of each member of the group. I hope they last.

Lakota Rain is a terrible name and they themselves are all terrible.

What the fuck is up with the mixing on this show btw. Can't hear the vocals at all.

What.. Lakota Rayne sounds great.

Deaf sprsk is deaf.. Well I guess you aren't since it is true that it is impossible to hear half the acts with huge shows going on around/behind them.

On another note...

I hope the drama that the UK X Factor gets flows into the US version.

http://uk.omg.yahoo.com/gossip/110-...rankie-cocozza-fights-x-factor-222333923.html

Just caught up on the X Factor in UK for this week and there was a huge spout between the judges in which one of them mocked Kelly Rowland for missing last weeks show for being sick and called her out on it.. Followed by him saying she was being fake for cameras.. then another judge mocked him and told him to go back into his cage.. Haha

and.. a few weeks ago another judge called out Kelly Rowlands contestant and said she was being mean to other contestants (which has nothing to do with talent lol) and more shit went down. It was amazing.

So EPIC. We need this shit in the US ASAP.

I haven't been watching the UK's XF this year, but I'd love to get a clip of the judges' verbal smackdown.

What a hot mess. Yikes!

Good on Louie for calling him and his mentor out, though he's still a major douche in my book.

XF US doesn't go fully insane like UK does. The 5 second intro montage for contestants on UK are more interesting than a whole episode of US.

Damn, that X Factor UK video was far more interesting than anything we've had in the US version, not to mention their judging panel overall seems better and Dermot is both hot and charismatic.

I don't think that much drama will ever happen over here. Nicole is such a generic mess that she only invites generic responses. Paula is crazy but inoffensive. I guess we'll only see LA Reid and Simon feuding but they seem way too buddy buddy to ever go at each other's throats like Gary and Louis.

HOPEFULLY I GET PROVEN WRONG.

Is the crowd really that retarded or are they really cheering at fucking ANYTHING? @_@ Are those even real cheers/screams?

OK, that's enough...

Nicole is the worst mentor ever. If Stacy wins, she won't be singing anything even remotely uptempo. This song really put her voice in the worst light possible, and she looked like a prostitute.

Really cool performance from Marcus. Reminded me of something Usher might do (being bathed in the gold light and whatnot)

He reminds me a lot of young Usher. But I still think he doesn't have enough of a spark to sustain a solo career.

And how can "You, Me and Dupree" be anyone's favorite anything?

Uh oh. Drew's getting the "we heard that shit before" treatment

And regarding the movie, I don't even know what it's about, who's in it, when it was released, etc. I just know OF it. lol

See that's the thing. I dont think he could push on and become a big solo artist.
