Steve Jones trying way too hard to show some charisma and, of course, falling flatter than Ke$ha's washboard ass.

I thought Leroy sounded really strong tonight. I wish he pushed a bit harder in the chorus, but overall it was a much better opener than the...thing...that Stacy graced us with last week.
 
Eh, I thought he was the bees knees. I mean, what do they expect from the type of performer he is? I hope they give Wannabe Jordin Sparks the same criticism because she puts me to sleep EVERY week.

Great song choice, but her voice is just sooooo underdeveloped and it sounded like she was screaming half of the time. The song was what was carrying her (great beat, catchy, can sing along regardless of the person performing it, etc.)
 
I can't stand this little girl. She's literally getting by on cute, and am I the only one who noticed that the backing music was pretty much drowning her out the whole time?

I think we all feel the same way. She's so...affected. I see right through her, and STOP SQUEALING "Thank you" like some desperate supplicant. You're young woman age!

It's hard to believe she's only a year younger than Drew. She acts like an 8 year-old.

I fully expect her to sing Annie on broadway night. (is there a broadway night?)

I think the overall sound mix and production during the entire show has been garbage to be honest, I can't really a good a handle on the contestant's voices.
 
Chris: C+
Chris is such a weak vocalist. As soon as he starts moving, his "singing voice" loses its "power" and it becomes lifeless and breathy. Cool song, but someone else would have done much better on it. I was KINDA diggin it but his singing voice is just so below average for a reality singing competition.
 
I want to like Chris Rene, because I like what he's TRYING to do vocally (I love the 90s white-boy rap-singing, LFO type sound), but he's took unfocused.

Surprisingly, I agree with Nicole. The whole arrangment and his performance was just a bit confusing and a little manic.
 
A Meat Loaf song is a perfect choice for Staci's screaming ass. If she can't work a song choice this perfect for her she doesn't deserve to win.
 
I think she overdid it trying to cover that forehead. Looks like her bangs are stabbing her eyes now.

EDIT: I see you, hot Asian background singer!

So, so, so fucking off-key. Also, I felt as if there was a huge disconnect between her voice and the song she was singing. Furthermore, it was just so overdone and turned into a bigger mess as she continued.
 
The problem with Stacy is that she loses control the higher she goes.

She sounded great at first, but she ended a mess. Not a single one of those big notes was on key. Not a single one.

... um, did she say her "franatics"?

We're in week 3 and she's already calling on her fans? Frans? Well, at least she knows how to serve diva.

So wrong, she's the 2nd or 3rd best contestant on there. Along with being cute she's got huge stage presence and a better overall voice than the thread favorite Drew (sorry), who gets by on simple aw shucks cuteness and singing quiet little lullabies with one trick that gets old quicker than Andrew Garcia (Idol) and his shtick. Might hate the fact that she's cute but that isn't a problem to me. Not every young girl acts like a slut or a star struck hick.

And, considering how vocally weak the other contestants are, I fully expect her to be there til the end.

Slayed is an understatement, somehow. He busted out the "cabaret singer" card. Can't get much more damning than that for someone trying to be a recording artist.
