Say what you will about Astro, but the dude has a star's personality. He's just too young right now and it just comes off as immature instead of hardened and jaded.

Straight up Kanye levels of crazy going on in this kid which should do wonders for his career (in a good way) if he actually hasn't hurt his chances at legitimacy through this show.

Shame, because I think he's the best one they've got on there, but as I've said before...the dude just isn't going to have an audience in the real world when it comes time to put money down for an album at this point in his life.

Star's personality without a star's talent. He's got the voice of a 10 year old and he has no flow at all when he can't just take someone else's beat and flow and replace it with words that fit the same cadence

Now I understand what he meant when he said:

"I just feel like if you [the producers / judges] gonna put me in the bottom two, I don't want to perform for people who don't want me here."

Then the host whispers something into his ear [i.e. You can't say that]

And then Simon says, "Part of this is being a grown up and you know what the rules are [you know you can't say that we put you in the bottom 2]."

The problem is the probably completely accurate perception he wouldn't believe he was in the bottom two even if he took every phone call himself.

Twitter followers have nothing to do with whether the public at large likes you - Kim Kardashian has many millions of followers but I would bet opinion polls of the general public would indicate most people don't actually like her. It just doesn't make any sense to rig a popularity contest.

That and he's pretty clearly an unlikeable person.

And he's doing nothing but rap. I still believe he went bottom 2 because he's rapping during rock week. This was a chance to get out of his zone a little bit and prove he could sing. He can't sing. If rap is all he's going to do, then he won't win a singing competition that encourages the contestants to at least try to expand their comfort zone.

He's getting as predictable and boring as Drew.

That and he truly is unlikeable.

I have arrived, gurls! Let the tears flow.

I swear this is the last Astro-related nonsense I'm going to post

Perhaps Astro is not so sorry after all.

Less than a week after sulking over his placement in the bottom two of Thursday's results show, and just a couple days after apologizing for his immature behavior, this 15-year old X Factor contestant is speaking out yet again.

And he's telling The New York Post the show was "punishing" him for an off-camera dispute in which Astro insisted on wearing Beats headphones even though the show has a deal with Sony.

“I don’t see how you can have the most followers on Twitter out of everybody in the competition and get voted in the bottom two," Astro aid. "So, I thought something was jiggy.”

Simon Cowell berated the finalist, saying his actions last week showed "disrespect" to his mom. But Astro insists his mother was behind him all the way.

"She knew what was going on,” he says. “She was tellin’ me, ‘Just leave. You need to leave and go home.’ It’s stupid, you know. But I told my mom, ‘Let’s at least try it one more time. Let’s get one more week in.’"

Man, that Rachel Crow girl.. I haven't watched this show other than a few minutes early on when I saw her sing before.. she's special. Her story is obviously amazing too. Not entirely sure why she went with a song that most people aren't familiar with but obviously the whole believe aspect is inspirational and all so she'll continue to go through no problem.

Melanie: B+
Awful song choice. Of course Melanie sang it amazingly well and did all she can with it, but it was so beneath her and her abilities. I AM DISAPPOINT.

And holy SHIT at the accent.

I don't get it, what happened? I was busy with a badly cooked pizza during her performance.
After the performance she broke down and started speaking entirely in her native Caribbean accent- she's been faking an American accent since she was a kid.

I eyerolled at the God stuff (I like my TV/entertainment secular!) but the emotion pouring out when she dropped the fake accent was unbelievable.
