While browsing itunes just now I noticed Emblem3's debut single "Chloe" is sitting at #38 on the itunes charts. So far they have been the biggest commercial success out of the 2012 season. Still waiting on Fifth Harmony's single...

But they don't really get $5 million in cash though right?

Isn't it like we spend $5 million on like the recording contract, studio time, hiring producers, writers, and marketing and all that extra stuff? Not saying they don't get money but I've read that it's a lot less than the actual figure they state on these shows.
 
So teen choice 2013 was last night. and you have groups like Fifth Harmony there to promote Demi along with Emblem3 who won the teen choice for breakout group. Where's carly and old guy at. haven't heard a peep out of them.

I still think old country guy took the money and ran. Probably didn't even try to make an album. Who knows what Carly Sonenclaire is doing. Probably back in junior high

I'm sure there's nothing in the contract stating he had to put his best foot forward. he could go in the studio with lackluster energy and effort until the label realizes they are better off cutting their losses and just giving the man his check. If Carly Rose had won, we would already have heard her new single and music video by this point.

that makes sense. and even if carly didn't win. it wouldn't have stopped her to being swooped up anyways. it's obvious who the real winners were.
 
I want my fifth harmony album. It would be great to have songs as good as "Anything Could Happen" and "Let It Be". I don't think thats going to happen though :(

It looks like there getting an EP, out on October 22nd. I predict 55k-60k for them. Looking forward to Don't Let Me Dance Alone, Better Together and Who You Are on the EP.

Those three songs could be adult target audience. Can see Don't Wanna Dance Alone be a huge radio ht along with Better Together. MMO is their weakest song.

I'm digging Better Together/Who You Are mainyl cause of Ally. Love the tone of her voice. So underrated in that group

I wonder how that manufactured country boyband is going. Middle america seems to love country and with a boyband they have that appeal with females as well. Guess we will see. Wild thingz I hate but they seem to be there for that get hype factor.

Not final sixteen, just most of the top 40. Jork is leaking the spoilers on a different forum. He was accurate last season. Thats how I knew bout 5H real early before the season began.

I actually don't think they'll be much of a threat to be honest. I think Jeffery Adam Gutt is more of a threat to win for the males/over. I'm more interested in how the manufactured girl group is gonna different themselves to 5H because right now I just don't see any difference all I see is they seem to be alil younger.

Oh yeah Guitt seems to be a fav right now and the biggest clear winner atm. I just think the boyband might be able to pull a fanbase out quickly.
