Say I wanted to play Madden for xbox vs xbox players, could I do so with the 360?

PS: I was at GR today and had to drop $100 to preorder. Dude said most GR stores are only guaranteed 10 ($400 version only) so they weren't taking preorders past that.

I just don't see that being something software makers would like (EA of all companies :lol). Just wondering if there is anything official about this...
