I think starting the past few months the releases have really picked up digitally, so I'm hoping it's the case! D4, given how it hasn't done so hot in the sales, will likely be a GWG, likely at the start of next year I'm guessing.

I finished Ryse in 6-7 hours when it first released. Was happy I didn't have to pay for it and just borrowed it. That said, while its definitely not a $60 game, I do think it's somewhat under-rated and fun for what it is. I'd say its a solid $20 game and would be a welcome GWG addition. I think it hitting GWG is probably inevitable at some point, though MS just re-released the game with a new wrapper and called it Ryse: Legendary Cash-Grab Edition...so GWG won't happen just yet.

Actually, it has been already three times which a new indie game debuted on Xbox One as a GWG title (Guacamelee, Chariot and Strike Suit Zero), so regardless of what has been already published there is always chance to have brand new games.

Which makes me wonder... which games are about to arrive on the console?

Aztez?

Energy Hook?

Project Totem?

Q.U.B.E.?

Strike Suit Zero was out for a while before it became GWG, that Viking game that's not out yet will likely be this months game though

I do not remenber Limbo being teased, it was Just rated in some countries.

Maybe I can dream of Costume Quest 2 (which os out today in many consoles but not in Xbox One) and the viking game.
 
I still feel that we are a WHILE away before any retail game is released, but if there is an exception to that, it would definitely be Zoo Tycoon.

Look at the second tweet, from 6 days ago. Limbo in the background and the tweet says "The @ID_Xbox collection so far, another one in background heading to #XboxOne soon."

Feel like without an official announcement of Limbo on next gen, it seems like they have plans for its release.
 
So it's definitely not Costume Quest, considering it is up for purchase. It would be pretty bad if they charged for it, only to offer it free 2 days later.
 
Limbo is an awesome experience. I can shamelessly say I would be all over that for the extra 1000 gamerscore. It was fun as hell trying to beat the game with less than 6 deaths in one sitting on 360.
 
Does anyone know if I can still 'purchase' these free games without using my xbox? I'm gonna be overseas for six months and I don't want to miss out on the free stuff.

But don't get your hopes up. In the terms they say you have to actually start the download during the promotion period to keep ownership of a game after the promotion period. Would be nice to get some clarification on this matter from somebody that "bought" free content with GwG and got an Xbox One two months later, did you still own the games?
