You know, the 360 *still* has all the features I wanted them to put in (removable harddrive included out of the box, ability to use mp3 player as in game soundtrack)... but damn that was a horrible conference.

Add to that the fact that I hate Morrowind, hate Fable, am eh on Halo (because of 2), am not much of a sports gamer and while I do love Ninja Gaiden, don't consider Tecmo a deal maker... what's left?

I guess I'll go wherever Bioware leads me (even though Jade Empire aint quite all that).

And shit but the PS3 havign =< 4 controllers blows my mind. One major complaint is kaput, if they can keep loading times down a bit then there's another one gone.

Considering that BRD can read disks at over 3 times the speeds of the X360's drive (around 300Mb/s), I think for once Sony has load times beat.

In terms of performance, if those PS3 demos are real, than hardware wise I'm more impressed with PS3. I have strong doubts about most of the footage sony showed (Killzone and the offroad game in particular), though.

In terms of vision and the things they want to do next generation, I like MS's showing. Many of their ideas for live were very very cool, and I like the idea of the X360 being a media hub sorta deal.

I will buy both.

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Well said, how long have PS3 devs had anything to work with? Most Xbox titles had actual gameplay being shown in them while I definitely question that those PS3 vids are what the final gameplay will turn out to be.

UE3 = perfect in two months, with a comment from the UE3 dev guy who said PS3 is easy to program for.

I'm sold on the 360 still and I'm considering PS3 now, but the only thing I don't like is that MS keeps pushing LIVE LIVE LIVE THIS LIVE THAT so everyone will get hooked on it then they'll just use it as a fucking electronic money eater.

both are capable machines , just get both.
In the end of the day, there are gonna be excellent games on both.



Oh well, if they say they are, then they must be! EA said those renders were IN GAME as well, and we know they aren't! Both companies are full of tricks.

The real winners here will be the owners of both consoles.

So far, all is well. The only thing I'm apprehensive about is Sony's controller. The PS2's controllers was always uncomfortable for me, but this one just looks awkward. An Xbox 360 controller adapter to the PS3 may be in order.
