Did a search, didn't see anything recent on this. Costco Xbox 360 bundles seem to be back in stock. Nice bundle I might add. Find it here:

Basically, you get the Premium Pack, extra controller, charge and play back, and PGR3 for $480. (There is a $25 non-member fee if you don't belong to Costco) Still, not bad at all.

Came up to $567.57 with shipping, tax and the 10% Non-Member charge. It would have been $560 with tax in the store. Meh, only $7 more so I went through with the order.

how is that retail price? 399 system, plus 50 dollar game, plus 20 dollar charge kit, plus 50 dollar controller ....is 519, pretty decent savings, and nothing in there you wouldnt want.

Yeah, and I might still do that. But I locked into one of these, just in case. I cancelled my Wal-mart bundle, which I thought was decent, but still had a few things I don't need.

Walmart was basically the same. Are EB Games and Gamestop confirming that you'll have it on launch day if you order from their website? I basically look at that I am locked into getting a system in case I can't find it elsewhere. If MS says they are shipping plenty of systems, I may cancel and do the mid-night run somewhere instead.

You might be lucky if you get the system's shipped out a week or two after launch. Costco's distribution goes to the warehouses first, and the rest will be for the online stuff. But its still one hell of a deal.

ordered it firday at work.....thing is, coworker orered one too and it got cancelled as well.

I ordered a new one from ritzcamera. I just hope they are letting everyone order one and then we have to wait till jan 2006 to get one shipped. I like how they dont charge tax, but the price the system 20 dollars over retail so its same as paying tax almost. You dont have to buy any games though, which is pretty good.

I wouldn't use Ritz Camera, personally. I've heard lots of bad things about them from the camera crowd.
