Costco no longer sells Xbox consoles and games

In this specific case... i believe it's WHO shared the message that is more important... if a x-shiller is showing that Walmart is giving up on xbox (and walmart would sell our and their mothers, given the change)... that strangely syncs with my opinion of a brand that... 'nobody' cares

Why didn't they upload the pictures on page 2 and 3 though?

Why is that?
I mean, why not? I guess I'm assuming you are asking why to the being pissed at their generation and not the "This is an Xbox" ad comment.

Xbox have done very few things this generation to make people want to buy into their platform and it's natural as someone as a fan of a platform to want said platform to succeed and do well. There isn't a single person into games that would want the platform that they choose to play games on to fail because that means their options start to go away and they must choose to or are forced to move to another platform possibly losing years/$$$ of purchases.

Xbox has essentially fails on nearly every front this generation and denying that can only really come down to blind fanboyism. That isn't to say they haven't had some wins but overall the platform is dying and that is frustrating for fans of the platform. As someone with tons of really great memories connected to Xbox and of what I consider one of my favorite franchises of all time with Halo the fall of the platform and the absolute destruction of Halo is super disappointing and frustrating to me.

Am I losing sleep over it? Absolutely not. It's not that deep but it's frustrating.

PS5 players are subsidizing the next Xbox by buying MS releases in droves.
They're not subsidizing a new Xbox, they're making Xbox realise that a full third party software publisher is the only realistic option for them now. Why continue to make hardware no one wants to buy, when you can just release your software on other platforms that are vastly more successful than your own.

Hey now, the PS5 subsidized an Xbox logo on an overpriced Asus handheld PC.

Take that, Ponies!

Phil Spencer: Sony Uses Revenue From Our Games To Reduce Xbox's 'Survival In The Market'

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has revealed as part of today's FTC hearing that he believes Sony is using revenue from Xbox games on the PlayStation platform to try and reduce Xbox's survival in the market

It's always this "Xbox fan" crap.

All you care about is looking like you won... What a failed and sick thing.

This thread just made me realize that I have never been in a Costco. :messenger_face_screaming:
Isn't it membership only purchases? And you need to be in certain trades to even get a membership. Atleast that's how it works in the UK.

I've never been to one as they won't let anyone buy anything because of the above.

in the states these day there are a lot of different "Costcos" and you just need to pay a monthly membership.

100% in my opinion its going to sell worse than current Series sales figures especially if the rumor holds true it will be online sales only (that I have no clue)

Plus their games are heading to PS I would guess only the truly hardcore Xbox fans would buy this next console

Its funny because I am certain we are getting another Xbox console but I would not be surprised at all if any moment we get an Xbox video saying they made the hard decision to stop making hardware
They going 100% digital this time?

Yea I believe you when you say you are positive they are working on a new console and it's coming but I think it's also a real possibility that they decide not to do it last minute.
What would be the point making a new console that would sell 5m units max?
It would be a 1st party machine, even Switch 2 would have more 3rd party games, because no dev would bother porting games to a console with such a small install base where only a fraction of it would buy their games.

I don't think MS will go through with it unless the Xbox division creates an impressive lie to convince the shareholders.
