Street Fighter IV World Champion
It was held in a venue that used to be tourist hell-hole 'The Hippadrome', now called 'Cirque'.
Spacious and airy venue, decent crowd, and some great, GREAT tunes.
Overall, pretty downtempo until the midnight countdown, which upon hitting had ten seconds of pyrotechnics and some trailers of games we've all seen and know about on the on-stage screens.
Then it looked like a dodgy school disco.
The food was of a good standard - mini-burgers with good meat, some yorkshire pudings with steak slices inside and mini-popadoms with chicken chunks topped with Mango chutney. Everyone was having fun and the very hot and friendly girls on hand were giving seven minute massages for free. I had four.
All in all, it was a good place to catch up with old friends and acquaintances and they generously gave out goodie bags containing:
1 - Perfect Dark Zero Tin Limited Edition
2 - 1 of 600 limited edition faceplate which was part of a grafitti installation
All in all a fun night, though I definitely preffered Zero Hour. That was a way more chilled and natural atmosphere.
I will post pics in the morning, for now is 2:30am in the morning.
