Xbox 360 rechargable battery pack question

If I get the $12 battery pack, how do I go about charging it?

Do I then have to buy the play and charge kit? That comes with a battery pack, so it seems odd to me that I'd have to buy that kit to charge the battery.

Can anyone offer assistance with this?

How I understood it, and I might be way off on this so don't take it as gospel, the battery pack is sold alone so that when the battery that comes with the P&C kit starts to die you can just buy a spare battery without the cord. Alternatively you can buy multiple batteries for all your controllers and just recharge them one at a time with a single P&C kit.

i dont even see why anyone is buying this. anyone with a digital camera should have a battery charger already. :lol

I see. Thanks.

What I'm planning on doing is getting myself a second wireless controller , the p&c kit, and the battery pack so I can have two controllers with battery packs and I'll be able to charge them both with the p&c kit.

and liquid, the reason for getting these packs is so you can use the p&c kit to charge while you play. I'd rather deal with a battery pack than having to switch out rechargable AAs all the damn time.
