Xbox 360 spring bundle - includes Forza 3 & Halo 3 ODST

I don't see why Sony won't jump on releasing a bundle, GoD Collection and LittleBigPlanet bundle was/is perfect.

I do like this news of the 360 bundle though- I can as well get Forza 3 on the cheap since the market will be flooded with it now.

If someone hasn't bought a 360 after Halo 3 and ODST launched, what makes you think a beta code for another Halo game will make them want to buy the system?
I might cause reach looks way better

I've been mildly interested in ODST, but not enough to pay very much for it. Hopefully this means I can get it cheap soon.

Great bundle.

Just bumped into another 250 GB bundle on Amazon:

OLD OLOLOLOL

This is going to be a cluster-fuck of a case. Both Forza 3 and Halo: ODST are two-DVD games, so they'll be fitting four in one case. AKA Lost Odyssey all over again (most likely).

Now this is a great bundle, FF13 and SCC one were really not special , this one looks really attractive.

Well, they can hardly meet demand as it is and there are some huge releases this month which is going to sell systems, so I don't think they need a bundle now. I don't think they drop the price of the hardware this year either, so hopefully they bundle something in the fall.

I think this Xb360 bundle is the best they've done. Both games are very appealing.

Or maybe they'll go crazy and just release 2 cases. :x

It's so unfair you guys get to pay in dollars. In Europe there are PS3's everywhere, probably because we pay in euro. :(

Hell yeah some guy at my job is sitting on the fence for 360 and he especially wants Forza. This seriously is one of the Best Bundles I've seen from MS (Better than all those 250gb bundles in my opinion)

I also hope gamestop decides to take take in the Forza 3/ODST box as its own SKU and not split them up, would love to be able to pick both games super cheap down the line. While they tend to keep them as one unit, I can easily see them deciding to break it up to maximize profit, but if kept together they should be $20 for both in a years time.

They accepted the Halo3/Fable 2 combo as a single unit so I bet they take this one too.

C'mon, I didn't like FFXIII either but to say that people who want the game are tards...

Too far man :lol

He is talking about the special edition bundle, and he is right. Unless you are huge FF collector and having a 250GB HDD with Final Fantasy XIII on it is really important to you.

I bet they break it into Halo 3 ODST, Halo 3 Multiplayer disk, Forza 3, and Forza 3 extra tracks. 4 games from one trade in!

Jeeze, look at all those disks for 2 games.

This is perfect, very nice play from MS.

Release this bundle, get people ready for Reach beta.

This will cause a fall in the price of retail ODST, get even more people ready for Reach beta.

May 3, Reach beta starts,.....JETPACKS, JETPACKS, JETPACKS!!!!

September, Halo Reach is released, midnight launch, lady gaga etc.

NPD september, 5million Halo Reach sold.

Mission Accomplished.:D :lol

So wait, are the games gonna come in separate cases, or in the single case like most double pack bundles?

I'm just wondering because both Forza 3 and ODST are both 2-disc sets.

So we get a FFXIII bundle with a white console, the game and "two" controllers for a 1 player game. Then we get this bundle with two games which are great with friends but only 1 controller!

Microsoft am clever.

Of course, they are. For one, you'll buy an extra controller (or two or three) at full price for the bundle with games that use them. For the other, you'll buy an extra multiplayer game (or two) that utilize the second controller for the bundle that came with a game that only uses one. Chances are, since you're getting a new system bundle, you'll also buy a new controller and/or games to go with 'em (along with optional hookups), too. Sounds pretty smart, eh? (Actually, I bet that this is part of the general thinking on it.)

Hum, Halo 3 sold 3.3 million in September 2007 NPD (1 week) and 4.85 million in 3.25 months (total 2007 NPD sales). Assuming Halo: Reach comes out at the same time, I'm expecting 4.7 million in its first NPD and 7.0 million in total 2010 NPD sales.

Guess no one knows for sure =[

Well I'm hoping its at local retailers on Tuesday.

Not exclusive.

Amazon has taken it off their site now. I hope it's still on track for March 9. I want it in time for Perfect Dark.

Yea I need to replace a e74'd elite and I want to sell the other pieces (hd, controller, games) to a friend.

Thanks, just passed this along to a friend who was planning on picking one up for FFXIII. That's one hell of a deal.

Well this is cool. I don't have either game, so I await picking them up super cheap in a few months. And people are right, the case is going to suck. I had forgotten that both were 2 disc games.

Wow this is some aggressive bundle there!!

I suppose that if you are not interested for this at 299$ it pretty much mean you're not interested into owning a 360 at all...

.

Combined with a corporate account discount, it's like getting an arcade system for even less. MS pulling all the stops. :D

this official bundles are never great deals, at least not in uk, can get a 360 with like 4-6 games for the price of one of these official bundles

Well, the Arcade is supposedly going to be $129.99 at most stores in Canada on the 18th. At that point though, seriously, what are you doing.

Same here. I don't care about halo or forza. I just want to sell them and make some money back.

Most stores should already have their units actually. Some people have already picked it up. ODST and Forza 3 are both in one case like Forza 2 + Marvel were.

Nice! I played the shit out of Forza 2 and Marvel from that when I got my Elite.. hope I can come across this bundle disc for cheap.

Its for pre prder at Best Buy at the moment.
I know they ship to your local store but I'd rather skip a pre order and just walk in and grab one off a pile ready to buy.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Microso...066&skuId=9808888&st=xbox 360 elite&cp=1&lp=4

Beaten by Ryu.:lol

Gonna call in an hour and see if they have them in ready to pick up.

I noticed that if you have the bundle shipped to your home it says the 15th is when shipping begins, this is with express shipping also. I guess we shouldn't expect these in stores for a little while yet?

My local stores, are all still stock full with the Lego Batman bundle so I am not sure if they are going to remove those, I know they have MS sale rep that come in and redo all the bundle sometimes. May be it was plan for spring brake (Easter promotion week) and was just prematurely put on the site by Amazon.

Awesome bundle.

:lol :lol same here :( i was pissed that a couple months later they released the fable 2/halo 3 bundle

my buddy is finally getting a xbox 360 :D

MS sure does like their bundles, which is fine, but how many do you need on the market, FF one, SC one, this one, different SKUs.
people who are still thinking about buying a 360 now are either strapped for cash or are casual gamers, and either of those categories of gamers don't like to spend too much on games and probably wouldn't buy more than 1 or 2 games a year. Packing in games is a way to get those people off the fence since they don't have to spend another $100-$120 to buy a couple of games. Having multiple bundles is good-- because not everyone wants to play Lego Batman and Pure.
