I feel like Xbox just never gets these events right. They always go on for 15 minutes too long, and they always miss that Nintendo/Sony 'one more thing' moment that can make an ordinary show extraordinary. Sometimes I just wanna slap the shit out of Phil Spencer because surely it can't be that hard to just have a Banjo/Conker splash screen with a 30 second trailer or revive something cool like Viva Piñata. This needs to be their best E3 for the best part of a decade.
No pressure.
This slob again.

Half the time the games are ok but they have no idea how to put it all together to make it exciting.
I think they got this one, as long as the games look great and play even better, they've got the games now more than ever. I guess they open with Halo and end on Starfield, everything else is gravy.I feel like Xbox just never gets these events right. I have to agree with you. Nintendo and Sony don't always get it right. There have been times where I wonder what they were thinking. But I've always felt like the difference between their shows and Xbox was soul. Most Xbox events come off as someone trying to sell me something. Which ultimately they all are. But I don't think Xbox has quite learned the art of selling me something without making it obvious. Nintendo and Sony feel more like celebrations. Their deliveries feel more like creators wanting to show me the cool shit they're doing. Xbox always felt like a guy in a suit reading off a checklist so he can get my card information.I feel like Xbox just never gets these events right. They showed some screenshots like two weeks ago and people were still whining that it looked like a XBO game so I wouldn't hold your breath343, please. I'm begging you. Show us you pulled your heads out of your asses and made Halo Infinite so much better than what you showed us last year. Give me back my dreams of loving Halo again. Make me forget about Craig if just for a moment.

personally I just want to see multiplayer at this point. I couldn't care less for the graphics if it means 120fps

Yeah, I think a big problem with their shows is the pacingI feel like Xbox just never gets these events right. Its confirmed to be their biggest e3 ever with 127 exclusive games, more exclusive games than ever before...376 world premiers and 1 exclusive xbox game.
Just in case if some people can't take a joke I'm a huge xbox fan and feel it's important to take the piss out of all companies.
In all seriousness, completely agree with you GHG. They need to smash this one. New console, a weak 6 months since launch. Their last showing was pure cg trailers.
This needs to be a big one.
It doesn't because their shows are shit every year and people still buy the console. People are dug in on their boxes of choice now. A good show at E3 will not move the needle. This needs to be their best E3 for the best part of a decade.
No pressure.
Say what? It's only after Sony started aping Microsofts high speed conferences that I could get through a Sony presser without getting bored out of my mind.I feel like Xbox just never gets these events right. Do you think it will?
I think Sony's had a good approach to things this year and Nintendo have been very talkative in 2021.I really think Microsoft needs to get control of their messaging and get this guy and his bullshit off his high horse, and that Aaron Greenberg guy. Jeff is claiming to be an 'outsider' with 'inside' information but he comes off as annoying, and Greenberg been wack his entire time trying to be a mouthpiece for them.
Sony has a problem with letting the blogs get ahold of their announcements and fucking up the messaging, and Microsoft has a problem with the 2 people I named not really being 'likeable' and fucking up the messaging. I can't stand how Nintendo is mostly silent, but atleast they seem to have a pretty good hand in their announcements
I feel like I've learned mostly everything Sony has had to announce from third party sources over the past year+ with the exception of the black and red controller announcements. I'd like to hear it from them first as opposed to these slanted journalist looking to build a narrative. Thats my point with themI think Sony's had a good approach to things this year and Nintendo have been very talkative in 2021.
