Trying to link my UK Live account to my passport, in prep for getting 360 on friday. Can't seem to get past the Age/Location screen without it saying page unavaliable, tried emptying cookies etc.

Anyone else having trouble?

Yes, I was having a lot of problems with it. In the end I just gave up and signed up for a new Passport account. Then I used that to link my Gamertag to it and it eventually worked.

It took a couple of hours altogether though because it just wasn't working at all. Try using Internet Explorer, register a new Passport, and try and do it from live.xbox.com

Why would creating a new passport do any good? Is there any disadvantage to using a passport you dont use often with it?

I don't know, but it worked. I tried using two different Passport accounts and neither of them would work properly. One of them wouldn't even log in, saying my password was incorrect (it wasn't!). I registered a new account, signed in first time, and it was fine from then on

I had to make a new passport as well.

It turns out you cannot use an old expired Gamertag that has previously been linked to your passport. There is no way to unlink it, at least thats what the X-Dude on the phone told me.

i used the same passport on my new gamertag that was linked to my expired gamertag and it worked fine!

Still no luck on a new passport, highly annoying. Still can't get past the microsoft passport network area screen in the registration area.

Oh well, 360 in 8 hours.
