No If you went to xbox.com today you would have had to accept the new TOS too. I don't think this has anything to do with the new dash.

You should check if rating collection sounds are on. I had this little buzz too and that option was switched on again after an update.

I had it really as did a mate a few weeks ago, black screens randomly when trying to play borderlands.

Now I just get micro flickers and a second drop out on sound.

Saw this posted on official beta forums today:

Users that received early access to Internet Explorer for Xbox via the Public Beta program (prior to 10/15) will need to DELETE and REDOWNLOAD the app in order to get the latest version of the application. Please follow the instructions below.

From Xbox Home, go to Settings and select System.
Select Storage.
Select All Devices or the unique storage device that contains your content.
Select Games and Apps.
Scroll down to Internet Explorer.
If you don't care about retaining your Browser History/Favorites, select Game Options (Y) and Delete.
If you want to retain your Browser History/Favorites, Select (A) Internet Explorer and delete everything EXCEPT the “Browser Data – Saved Game” content.
Once you have deleted Internet Explorer from storage, return to Apps, select
Internet Explorer, and the latest version will download.

Not entirely sure where else to post this, need some advice..

My xbox has randomly stopped reading games/DVDs/CDs. You put anything in there and it thinks the tray is empty.

I somewhat think this is a software issue due to the sequence of events leading up to this problem. Basically:

I was playing Forza Horizon.
Saw that SmartGlass was now available for my phone, so downloaded that
Had to exit Forza to turn on SmartGlass access on my xbox, connected SmartGlass
Deleted beta IE, downloaded IE from the dashboard
Xbox froze whilst launching IE (it has been freezing more often than it should since the beta)
Restarted xbox
Opened IE and played around with that for a few minutes
Went to go play Forza.. and there is apparently nothing in the tray.
Same result for every other game and disc tried.

Any ideas?

I tried turning it on without the HDD in and same problem.

Sounds like the laser in the DVD drive is kaput, nothing to do but put in for a repair if you're still under warranty.

smartglass on my windows phone worms a lot better than i thought it would. browsing the internet is smooth. Keyboard is nice too.

I don't know where to put this but I thought I might try here.

I went to go play Forza Horizon and my power went off during the update. Now I get this error code and I can't do anything to get out of it:

I have tried to update by two different USB sticks and two different update versions but no cigar. I also tried to search for the official Xbox 360 support thread here but I couldn't find it. Thanks!
