Still waiting on that Shadow Complex and Mirror's Edge.

Yup, he already said not to expect new games during Preview.

His tweet: Preview as really us working on emulation, not the portfolio, with the way BC works it's more about getting emulation right.

His follow up tweet literally says they will have new games in the preview.

I think what is really interesting about this one is that it is getting an HD update very shortly.

It's almost as if they are encouraging devs to make the original versions of the game available regardless of what they happen to have planned.

I wonder if Castle Crashers Remastered will sell well or if people will just wait until the fall to play the original version. The Behemoth would be wise to provide a deep discount to current owners.

Gotta give then respect for enabling BC though. I bet we'll see quite a few publishers deny BC for games that have been remastered, so any that does earns a spot in my good book.

Found Borderlands on a recently played list - My PAL disc still shows as unplayable though.

Yeaah Borderlands was confirmed when first announced :p

Give us some more games MS !!

JUST DO IT.

I hope Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary and Underworld get put on there too. Since MS is close with TR I guess they'll be up.

Gamescom has to have all these games "today we're expanding that library with Gears of War, Reach, etc and they are available to download right now".

I feel that would be a weird announcement.

"We're expanding our BC selection....

....for preview members only!"

I'm sure more games will be added before the official launch but I don't think MS is going to use their stage to announce something that only applies to a small portion of their audience.

I imagine it'll be something more along the lines of

"We are happy to announce Backwards Compatibility will be available for the public on X and as of today, we are bringing some more of the highly requested games to preview members such as Red Dead Redemption. Here's a look at some more titles that will be available on X" then a small trailer in the background of all the games that'll be there at launch

Well the first announcement was at the biggest show of the year, and they did mention it was for preview members first.

True, but the primary announcement was for BC in general.

....

Hopefully MS allows users to buy these games through the XB1 store once the services officially launches. I'm sure they will. If they don't, I hope they fix their online store at Xbox.com. If you don't currently own a 360, you cannot purchase any Xbox 360 titles from the Xbox website, which is ridiculous.

Have they actually flat out said wether they're doing a 360 games store? It makes a lot of sense, but I dunno how realistic it is.

I just bought a $10 MS card and put the code in on the website. I can't purchase RDR with it though? It wants me to use a credit card? Wtf.

Yeah you have to use a credit card ... which sucks.

I hope they have a Backward Compatibility section on the Xbox One store, if not I guess we can always use xbox.com

That's not true. I don't have a 360 and I just bought RDR for 360. U can't use Microsoft credit for it however, but it allows u to if u pay via credit/debit card
