You stick the disc in, it downloads the game + emulator. If you want to play, you have to have the disc in.
Just Cause 2 runs really well. Playable even in high chaos moments.

Oddly enough, it feels like it might even play better. I don't know if it is the Xbox One controller or what, but so far everything I have played runs great. This is such a killer feature and I cannot wait to see the list grow.

First time ever playing judgement right now so I can't speak for 360 performance but the game plays a lot better then the frame dropping gears 3 does, it also looks damn nice for a 360 game. There is some control delay which ruins up close shotgun battles but it's running well, i like it.
I am only in the baird campaign right now so can't say if it's better or worse later in the game.

Crazy as it sounds I'm more likely to play my 360 games now. My 360 is so slow and clunky these days id rather not use it.
I got it with Games with Gold, but never played it. It is sitting there waiting to be downloaded, so I am going to give it a whirl. Loving this shit.

Playing Sonic CD has pretty much confirmed why I was looking forward to BC. Playing that game on the 360 with the 360s shitty d-pad made me not even finish it. I played it last night on Xbox One and it was glorious with the XB1 d-pad. I can't wait to play other games with the new controller.
I love that you are still able to take screenshots and use the gamedvr stuff in the 360 games. That would've been so cool back in the 360 days.
Okay, I've played a load of Mass Effect, Rainbow Six Vegas, DiRT, Assassin's Creed 2, Fallout 3 and Just Cause 2 over last few days.
The good news is stability and performance wise it is great. Games just work. Multiplayer also works great, across platform too.
Only issue I would highlight is DiRT 3 struggles in high physics moments, eg if you start to crash through fences the frame rate starts to chug. Otherwise they play pretty much like on a 360. Fallout 3 actually plays better, as loading times are drastically reduced.
Also, it is surprising how well DiRT 3, Fallout 3 and Just Cause 2 have aged. They look very close to native Xbox One games. Seriously, visually these games look like they could be released today at times.

I really can't wait for more exclusives to get added. I was ps3 last gen so I'm now enjoying gears, fable and hopefully soon Alan wake, halo reach and the like. This is amazing.

The sound started to act up instantly when I started the game. Even the sound during the logos upon booting the game was choppy ;-)
Maybe it was a glitch and I should try it again.
My Gears 3 didn't do that, but the framerate is pretty poor when things get hectic.

The codes and therefore the authorisation comes on 1st Dec 15. You have to wait.
I tried multiplayer last night and it kept slowing down at times. Fps drops I guess?
So I can delete my Euro version and download the US version instead?
I'm passed the anal probing section anyway, so I guess it's pointless if I do.

Installed Gears 2 and found a ranked Warzone match on Ruins
Sadly the game runs really bad. It's really choppy and feels like it's running at about 15 fps.
Rather strange that Judgement runs the best out of 2-3-J so far, gears 1 runs well too but that is the oldest out of the lot.

Gears 3 multiplayer runs like absolute garbage for me. I figured the game always had frame drops and looked like a blurry mess but I hooked my 360 back up and the game runs great. Not sure what's going on but I hope they fix it.
Also real talk, Gears 3 multiplayer is so good. I forgot how much fun it was.

I uploaded my Super Meat Boy save to the cloud from 360 but the Xbox one didn't pick it up and instead created a new one. I think I just lost my save, anything I can do in this situation?
