Xbox One is huge

Breathing new life into the XBOX HUEG meme. I approve.

Came to see this. Didn't leave disappointed.

Looks just as big as the regular 360 (two gamepads wide). Which is big, but nothing unusual. The original Xbox was bigger.

It's ugly, but who really cares? If this makes it run cooler and last longer, it is well worth it. Might even be the only real positive thing I've seen regarding the system so far.

The only thing I would actually be excited about hardware wise are the trigger motors in the controller. The design of that brick... ugh.

The more I look at it, the less I like it. I thought it looked good at first, then seeing the little details makes it less attractive. Not a fan of the grill on top, and the disc slot is not looking too good now.

It's seriously big. Too big. I dread to think of the size of the power brick.
It reminds me of an Acorn computer in my primary school way back in 1996 or something.

My first thought when seeing that shot on the GT post-show was "damn, it looks huge." But then the pictures from Wired make it look much smaller than that. So I don't know what's going on.

I don't mind the look of it, but yes, it does appear to be a chunky monkey. Odd, considering their aspirations for it to be the centerpiece of your entertainment area and be in every living room.

The folks in the home that have final say over what goes into their living space (i.e. Those with design sensibilities) usually don't appreciate hulking pieces of black electronics next to their half inch thick LCD TV.

What do you guys want?

OF course the box is bid. IT has to be for heat reasons.

YOU want high power and you don't want the damn thing to melt or be too big?

Ya'll need HTPC in your lives and Steam.

Stop with this non-sense.

To further their support for bro gamers, the Xbox One can transform into a thirty pound dumbbell. Now when other Xbox Live players question whether or not you lift, you can answer with a resounding "yes."

I look forward to the new photoshops.

Looks no bigger than my DVR and definitely not bigger than my receiver. Both of those are common pieces in a household so it won't be a problem

I don't have a problem with its size or how it looks.
I think it's sized to fit on top of an AV receiver, which will look nice stacked.

Its minimal, yes
Which is fine, no need to fancy bells and whistle design....

too bad about everything else they presented.
snoozfest.
