This is what I'll be doing once Redbox gets games in their kiosks. Spend the 2 dollars to get the game, install it and buy the digital license.

God damnit. Went to a huge store in the middle of munich today to play XboxOne and they didn't have one. They had a Ps4 but it wasn't turned on(maybe broken?).

One great thing about living here I guess. EB Games lets you return a game within 7 days of when you purchased it, for any reason (other than obvious things like you damaged it or something).
If a game is meh and only worth a rent I tend to just buy it and return it within the 7 days as it's longer than you get when you rent it and it costs nothing except a few minutes driving time and fuel.
Suck it up until January.
I buy used games at Gamestop all the time because you can return them for 7 days. I'll buy it, play it for 4 or 5 days, then return it... Better than renting and every once in a while, I actually like the game enough to keep it.

RedBox doesn't have next gen games yet, Blockbuster and retail rental stores by me all closed, and I don't want to pay a monthly fee to a service that I won't use much, I don't rent games often.
Not sure if there are any other options. Just how sucky is your internet, and what games do you want?
The ps4 I preordered was shipped the day before release and got to wherever it was going Friday morning so I think they'll be fine. My card was charged today so hopefully they'll be shipping it soon.

Mine didn't ship until Thursday, and it arrived the next day. It really depends how close you are to a distribution center.

Google Fiber was originally intended to be here by Summer, than delayed till Late 2013, confirmed for October, but they aren't willing to meet Comcast Users till January. :/ Was hoping I'd have it in time for Next Gen, now I'm waiting.
EDIT: Either 164.70 GBs if I go with Ryse, or 138.46 GBs if I go with FIFA.

I haven't played Forza Motorsport 4, but in Forza Horizon, they had microtransactions to buy Car Tokens as well. So I'm not surprised that it's in Forza Motorsport 5. Don't like it, then don't buy it. You can earn everything on your own, nothing in the game is preventing you from doing that except time.

He really sounds happy with the system. I honestly never doubted MS's OS/Kinect integration, I know sometimes they try to make their software do too much at the expense of some things not working, but I admire the effort and vision.
If ONLY they could've had slightly more powerful hardware so this 1080p thing wasn't such a concern not only now but also in the future. I'm still getting one, and getting more excited to play it, but just so so close they were. Close enough? We shall see.

The 2d crowds is pretty laughable. I know there's time constraints with it being at launch, but 2d crowds...sigh.
Yeah, seeing it in white makes the VCR jokes seem not so funny anymore. But even in black, the system has grown on me and I love the way it looks. It is built like a tank, but still looks classy and very high quality. Same for the controller.
All I see is people comparing a replay to ingame footage and of course there will be some things different from the E3 build... doesn't make it a downgrade.
pretty sure it's actually the trigger rubbing up against the side. there is a very noticable gap between the chassis and the trigger that isn't there on the good one:

Yes, I saw some people thought there was a downgrade, but I watched the DF video and the game looks awesome. I don't care if there are differences between the release version and the final version, the game looks great.
But the 2D crowds
No one noticed they were 2D during all the other videos because we don't play screenshots. In motion you don't notice, although I do agree the fact they don't move looks silly when you're starting the race.
