So what ever happened with the ass storm that was supposed to change the world? No reviewers seem to be having any major issues with their Xbox Ones...

Who knows? All I heard is that Bish pulled rank on him the other day and said that if he posted some of the stuff the he PM'd him that his account would be forfeit. Cboat said that there would be problems at launch, Bish disagreed, and that was that.

PS4 owner here. I'm actually pleasantly surprised by all the positive impressions I've heard about the new Kinect and the One's interface. I was definitely skeptical. I think I've gone from not even considering buying an Xbox One until a price drop to definitely considering picking one up once Titan Fall comes out.

Do you have a link?

I keep telling myself DIGITAL DOWNLOAD FUTURE but I don't really want to be trying to download 200gbs of games on Day One, plus I want to be able to trade in Ryse. Fuck it, I'm ordering boxes from Amazon.

A) you'd have to buy like 8-10 games on day one to hit 200GB, which is another $500. Doubt you're doing that.

B) if you already don't care enough about Ryse to keep it, why buy it? Just rent or borrow.

Sucks that we'll never know what info CBOAT had. Would be incredibly annoying if it was something that turns out to be a real issue at launch.

There is still a lot of improvement to be done but I think what we see with this in 2-4 years is going to be amazing.

Titanfall should be a great time to make it in, hopefully you can get a good deal going.

my friend is deciding to get an X1 on the spur of the moment. Where do you think would be the best bet to pick one up on Friday without pre-ordering?

Best places are those that require a membership like Sam's Club or Costco, other than that go to stores that wouldn't likely be used to buy consoles. Target is usually a good choice but it seems this time around a lot of people have figured that one out.

Also just a reminder to send me a friends request if you're buying a Xbox One on launch night, GT = FordGTGuy.

Sent you one. Anyone can feel free to add me too: Trip Like I Do

Probably won't be on a whole lot at first, but if you think you'll want people to play Titanfall with...

This is the first console launch I've been part of.

As the kind of person who will absolutely refuse to order a product unless it comes with next day delivery due to impatience/anxiety, this wait it really messing with me.

Seriously....my brain actually hurts.

Surprised there is no console teardown yet.

Hmm true.

So glad I kept my preorder on this one. My GF bought me the PS4 for my birthday and so I only have to purchase one console which makes me very happy. Between this, the PS4 and the Wii U, I am going to be in gaming heaven for quite some time. I can't wait to use Xbox Fitness on this!

Not long now, managed to get a half day authorised at work tomorrow, so will scoot off to Game tomorrow afternoon, pay for it all, then sleep until 10pm and go to the midnight launch.

Can't wait!

If anyone wants to add/follow me, GT is Sikamikanico.

I must say, my GF and I are super excited about Xbox Fitness. In NYC, gyms cost like $80/month, so if this could possibly replace that, it would be huge for us.

Is it a dickish move for me to buy games at retail, install them fully onto my Xbox One, and then go back to the store, return the opened games, swap them out for $50 Xbox Live Currency cards (and 3 $10 cards), return back home, redeem the codes, and than buy the games digitally, to unlock the already installed games? Better question is, is this illegal?

Honestly, I want to go all digital, but since my Internet sucks, and I can't get Google Fiber until January (just 2 more months), I can't go all digital unless I want to cap my bandwidth and spend all day downloading 200GBs of games. :/ With this I'm going all digital and just installing the game from the retail copies.

Going all digital gives me the benefits of being able to instantly swap games with voice navigation, and I want that...

I don't understand the Twitch delay being news people use for power on forums. Eurogamer said - via Microsoft - in an article it would launch Q1 2014 weeks and weeks ago. It was RIGHT THERE.

SmartGlass app on iOS. Any good?

I haven't used it alongside an X1 yet however the app is, in my opinion, leagues better than the 360 one.
It seems to have quite a bit of functionality. Which is good for when you are out and about.

I'll have to do some testing with it and my not far away X1 though before I really want to say if it is better than the last gen version or not.

Regardless if it's illegal or not, it seems like a huge amount of work to go through just to get your games digitally. Just bite the bullet and swap games manually.
