yes. And while on the guide (at least in the US) you can say"what's on HBO" and it will go to that location in your channel lineup. Same with any channel in your guide (DirecTV channels, the broadcast channels they carry and ones you add), from CBS to Netflix.

Just curious: How many Xbone day 1 people were also PS4 Day 1 people and do you think that influenced your game purchasing decisions? I bought 2 PS4 games and so far nothing for the Xbone largely because the PS4 is here now and DR3 is probably the game I would like most out of all launch titles not coming to PC. Had the releases been reversed I would have likely had 2 Xbox games and just gotten buy with the PS4 freebies. I will eventually buy some games for it, but there are too many games to fill my time already.

Note: The biggest factor in keeping my XBone preorder was Xbox Fitness, my wife will love it.

Have both. In fact both myself and SouSouRocket each have both on reserve. Because we love games and are lucky enough to be able to afford the hobby.

Well I was really excited to try BF4 for the first time on Xbox One. Great graphics and 64 players with friends would have been amazing. Now I'm thinking about cancelling my pre-order for BF4 cause there are STILL massive amounts of issues with the PC and even PS4 version. There's also no party system, what in the flying fuck? I don't want to give these people my money.

Looks like its Forza 5 for a while.

if you have an existing wireless headset setup then it'll still work for game audio through optical. likewise wired.

the only issue is you won't get game chat as well.

I'll be hooking my Astro's up via optical out and using kinect as the mic until I get the adaptor.

I'm assuming you mean you won't be able to talk through them.

As I understand it you should still hear people talking through the headset though.

Yeah, I always play with headset because I don't have a big surround system.
I still don't understand why the TB and Polk got delayed. MS announced this new port on the controller, so manufacturers must have known. Then MS announces the adaptor for old headsets with 2.5mm plug and suddenly the new one get delayed?! So this means the new one will come without proprietary plug or what else is the reason for delay?

I thought the main reason for this new port was 5.1 output through controller, will this be possible with the old headsets + adaptor as well?

You could power a USB headset but you wouldn't be able to supply it audio.

Usually companies charge when they ship the pre-order except in cases like this where demand is going to be high so they'll charge a couple of days early to get the gear to local delivery depots to ease the demand on the delivery companies.
