This is the .. Remedy MP game .. not the art style I expected

THAT was a Remedy game? The animations were shit.

This was a much better showcase than it had any right to be:

Alan Wake 2: Lake House
Cronos
Like a Dragon Hawaii Pirate
Subnautica 2
Edens Zero
Eternal Strands gameplay
Mistfall Hunter
Wheel World
Phasmophobia
The Legend of Baboo
Wuchang Fallen Feathers gameplay
FBC Firebreak

2025 is about to be a fucking avalanche of games. I hope you all are ready.

Why is this no name show delivering on games??
And The Game Awards is next.

Wuchang looked good the first time, looks great now. Glad it's coming to gamepass. Same with Subnautica 2. Yakuza pirate game looks super dope too.

Wheel World and Eternal Strands are the only games that stood out to me worth buying (I already bought Animal Well for the Switch. Great game). Wuchang and Mistfall Hunter seem okayish too.

The Control multiplayer game feels like a reflection on the state of gaming and not in a good way. It takes everything I like about Control (Teleknesis, flying, and level design) and just making it a run of the mill shooter.

I didn't even know that was a Control spin off game. That's just sad.

I'm hoping it is not just a standard co-op shooter and hoping they took a cue or two from games like Lethal Company. All I've been waiting on is for an AAA I.P. to do something similar to what Lethal Company does, but better.

That was boring imo more boring than any of Sony's SOP lol. The only games i saw that i was interested in were Yakuza, Wuchang and Edens Zero and they are all Multiplatform. I miss being excited for game showcases and seeing impressive games that get me excited for the future.

Yeah, I hope it does something different at least, but didn't see it in the trailer. I was thinking it would at least have physics gameplay like The Finals with psychic powers.

So I guess Ghost Bike is now WheelWorld? Looks good.
Eternal Strand looks like a ton of fun.
Eden Zero has an interesting retro faded look that I like. Will keep an eye on it.
Cronos is likely going to be awesome.
Legend of Baboo looks like a potential day 1 for me if it's cheap. Looks like an old school action adventure.
Wuchang will be cool from the looks of it. Much, much darker than I realized.
Animal Well will go on the wishlist.
Firebreak looks boring, but at least I can try it on GP. I wouldn't buy it.

I give the show a B-. Better than I was expecting. I wanted more small indie reveals and a GP drop today to get to B+. The format of the show helps it a lot. Just fast and no time wasted with a few brief recaps, so that is well done there.

There was a few decent titles in the presentation. The cartoon FPS looks great.

But, some studios need to start paying From Software royalties.

It was ok show for what it is (though literally every game will be on other platforms from day one), but FBC: Firebreak trailer is full of Concord vibes and GP day-one release is hardly adding any confidence. Surprised that there was no STALKER 2 trailer too.

Remedy is in big trouble, that's my main takeaway from this show.

Mouse PI has been on my steam wishlist for years. Can't wait to play it when it hits gamepass. Everything else looked great too. And not a remake/reboot in sight, love it.

I don’t know how I still care about these events.
I actually left 10 mins in.

I no longer care about this stuff because you can be disappointed for so much that it’s not possible for anyone to give a shit . Gone are the days where we have at least 1 or 2 cool game announcements of bad ass games with bad ass music like back in the early ps4 era and before .

All we get now is garbage games and couple of decent at best games

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is multiplatform as well, thank the lord.

the pro strat is to wait till it's over then skim through to find the one game that they centred the whole show around and pray it's not concord.

These things are a waste of time and production, not the games, just the shows themselves.

More people will see these trailers if their favourite influencer reacts to a trailer rather than watch the showcase.

It just seems like a time waste. I haven't personally watched any of these this year, and i haven't missed any holy shit or get hyped moments.

I was looking at Mouse PI for Steam earlier this year, but I’m pumped to see it on Xbox as well. That one will be day one for me.

Alan Wake 2 expansion - looks cool, don't like the game would not bother
Cronos - could be interesting
Blindfire - not for me, I don't see this game doing well at all though
Yakuza Pirates - never was a fan, but this looks really fun to me, love a pirate game
Mouse - artstyle is good, I would wait for it to be in humble bundle
Subnautica 2 - fuck these devs
Animal Well - game I'd play for an hour or 2 and delete it. waiting for a humble bundle
Eden Zero - naw
Eternal Strands - what is up with the fps on the spell effects? looks so bad. Actual game looks kind of fun
Mistfall Hunter - very nice graphically, combat looks kind of fun, if it's single player extraction I'm interested. If it's MP focus, probably not
Wheel World - looks like some chill fun to me. I enjoy racing/sport racing games a lot so
Phasmophobia - i have this on PC and don't care for it but I see the appeal
The Legend of Baboo - at first I thought it looked bad but there is some decent art direction towards the end of the trailer. LoZ type game?
Wuchang - i'll definitely atleast try this one
Firebreak - not for me, aren't most popular horde type shooters nowadays from well established IP's? (Warhammer, Alien, WWZ, Killing Floor, L4D, etc) I don't see this fire breaking out to a very large crowd

Decent show, I appreciate the no bullshit trailer approach.

No expectations is the way to go with these, solid little showcase. All the games I want to play are coming to gamepass too, so that's a win win.

I didn't catch the stream.

So IF WE LOOK CLOSELY, how many of these games are coming to PlayStation?
I remember back when it used to be really subtle, when people took the time to craft posts that sat right on the line. Sure, it could be troll bullshit, but it might not be. It advertised a real love for the fun of it all. Today, we're left with low effort posts like this: didn't watch the stream, didn't read the thread, asking how many third party games in the third party showcase are third party. No care, no love, no craft. Heck, I'll dock a point because it didn't even bother with the current "I'll wait for the PS5 Pro version" meme. We deserve a higher quality of console war trolls than whatever this is.

As this is partner show, I would say most, just like on usual state of plays from Sony, difference is that MS/Xbox showings are actually much more interesting. Not sure who is responsible for doing state of plays at Sony but they are doing shit job for the last couple of years.

I'm very sorry if my post, asking if I can play all of these third-party games on my preferred platforms or if there are any timed exclusives, hurt your feelings. :messenger_heart:
