XCloud on Xbox One has Better Performance than a actual Xbox One Console

Wonder what the input delay is like.

Only time I've really used xcloud is probably octopath traveller using 5g with touch controls, what worked better than expected.

Well no shit, its running via Series X and streaming to an inferior console, this is literally clickbait
It's literally a comparison.

Many ppl doubt cloud gaming, so I think it's fair. But it's going to get locked, because of a banned source.

Next-gen (current-gen) consoles are so hard to come by lately. It'll be over a year minimum that supply will catch up to demand (with chip shortages etc...).

That you can offer this to console owners who just can't upgrade is a great fan service tbh. Games like The Medium that are next-gen only (and future titles as well) could be played with their current consoles on the big screen (as opposed to a tiny screen on their phone).

MS could focus on making games exclusively for Series X (without being shackled by last-gen) and yet still have those games playable on last-gen consoles.

I heard about this coming to the Xbone but is it for Series X|S as well for when you just want to try something out quickly? Or is that coming later?

Insiders on the Alpha ring are currently testing it for all Xbox consoles. I've tried it a few times on Series X just to try a few Game Pass games (without having to download them) and it works great.

I wonder at which resolution those run though. If you have a 4k tv this is not an alternative

It's already there on one of the insider rings. I suppose it will come next month

If in the input lag of Xcloud (based on internet speed too I guess) is similar to Killzone 2's input lag, then it's acceptable.
But it's nice to see older consoles having some legs. Also excited about Xcloud integration it TV's etc.

Why not? Alot of people with Xbox One's already have a 4K TV (4K Blu-ray player).

Xcloud offering 1080p/60fps with Ray-Tracing (on titles that support it) is a hell of alot better than what the Xbox One does natively.

Bad. On any device its being streamed to.

Nothing beats playing a game natively. There's no debating that. But it is far from bad. It has improved so much that with a decent internet connection you could play and quickly forget you're playing a cloud game.

The huge load time improvements plus no installs already makes xcloud appealing. Never considered that most games that are 30fps on Xbox One will run at 60fps on xcloud which should nullify any lag. If you are on an xb1 than xcloud is a no brainer.
