Star Ocean looks so much better, wasn't the WiiU more powerful than the X360? It's pretty disappointing to say the least. And it's not only the faces, the characters and mechas are low poly and the textures are very low res... Sigh...
I loved the original Xenoblade and I really hope this game is at least as good as the previous one, so I might get this game (when the Wii U costs $150-200. I'm patient

It is? They're showing its grunt in areas other than character models. Crazy, right?

There probably is a reason for this, considering how huge Xenoblade Chronicles X's worlds are.

I thought it looked fine and with it being a 2015 title, it could look better though I didn't have a problem with the graphics. Xenoblade didn't look all that great but it was one of the best RPGs of the last gen and one of my personal favorites ever. I have no doubt this game will be just as excellent.

Not too crazy about the doll faces but the game looks epic.
Online elements are obviously around since the first trailer, was talking about how in the earlier trailers it seemed to be customized characters coming together.
Personal opinon on the MMO thing, full blown MMO? Ehh doubt it. Potentially some big online multiplayer mode? Sure.
We'll see though.

Edit: Wait I remember you saying you played Xenoblade and didn't like it. Xenoblade isn't that cliche but hopefully this game is more like Xenogears/saga than that (it seems like it).

Looked incredible to me, the music, the style, the absolutely everything. And I think this was the only JRPG in ANY of the conferences? If this even reaches half the awesome of the original Xenoblade, I am ALL IN.

Yteah, the Wii Xenoblade did have pretty..um..bad character models. Which is a shame, but Xenosaga's character models were some of the best of the PS2 days but the environments were anywhere from meh to HOLY COW.
Guess I should start again on Xenoblade....or something..

Im super excited for this game. Im already sold on the gameplay from the earlier trailers. Just need some more insight into the story. I personally would prefer if it is in the vein of the gears/saga games. Having said that I also liked Xenoblade's story. It wasnt as deep as the earlier Xeno-games but deep enough.

Understandable given what you've seen up until this point, but as someone who has played Xenoblade, I can tell you that this trailer looks just as much like Xenoblade as the previous trailers.

What is the point of trying to defend the graphics. Perception is reality, and the perception is that the graphics don't look as good as they did in previous trailers which is true.

Yes I have played Xenoblade and its story was one of the things that soured me. Oky maybe soured is harsh but was disappointing.
I'm hoping the story is Xenogears or even Xenosaga but my confidence is extremely low.

Its a new gen, of course it looks better. Doesnt mean it looks good.
It seems like they are just incredibly bad when it comes to faces in general.
