Nope. It was completely different in most aspects. For a start, there were no boundaries like there were on Bionis' body.
if you mean the new world in Xenoblade, that is. There were significant similarities, but that's due to Shulk.
I've spent over 600 hours on Xenoblade through my various replays on Wii and Dolphin since I got it at launch in 2010

This is correct. There's one small plot hole that I hope is worked out (again, Xenoblade ending spoiler):
the X trailer calls it "Earth", and the crashed ship in the gameplay trailer has the words "United States" on it - the world of X appears to have both pre- and post- Zanza elements.
Interesting note regarding X/Xenoblade connections: Tatsu (the nopon in the X trailer) has Bionis-style clothing.
oh wow, that definitely could be the case. Nopon would indicate it's after Xenoblade though...so yeah. let's see.
It's the fucking shonen game, all the way to the heroes shouting "inspirational" shit at the bad guys seconds before the boss fight

I don't really care - it's the environment that matters in Xenoblade.

This game has cross in the name. So this will be the chrono cross of the series while Xenoblade Chronicles was the Chrono trigger of the series.
I actually bought the Limited Edition at launch from Game with the Red controller but only played like an hour and never touched it again. I don't have the time but since this is 2015 I may go back and work on changing that before X.

also, play it on Dolphin in 1080p. works on low spec (i played it through on my old AMD Phenon X4), and it's GLORIOUS
