Here's the thing though. If it was a Fall release (which I'd gather they know by now) they would say "This Fall" or even "This Holiday or This Winter". They've done that in the past. So I'm still hoping out for a June, July, or even early August release. Not going to put money down on it but the wording is at least allowing me to think in this direction.

They're sticking with the vague "later this year" wording because they don't want to lock themselves down to a specific timeframe yet if anything comes up.

You're missing the point. Some people do not consider a teenager in a swimsuit to be sexualization especially when the whole cast is able to wear those outfits. In some cultures a woman's hair is sexual so they have to cover it or be considered immodest and in others (like some indigenous Americans before genocide) they were usually bare chested. So what some people think is too much may not really apply everywhere.

This is the thread where primary discussion of the game is taking place. It is not unreasonable for people to come in here looking for impressions or early gameplay and not wanting or expecting to be spoiled. If you want to post spoilers in tags, that's fine. People are just upset that the context in which they were posted may have given it away. And that's reasonable. Whether or not the spoiler is major or even accurate is another matter.

The battle theme is fine with me. The vocals come in quite late and that's a good thing. It means that you won't be hearing the first few words over and over in short battles. But in longer, closer battles it just feels right that the track goes to another level by introducing the rapping/singing.

I'm starting to appreciate the game's soundtrack more just from watching a few streams. NLA's music seems to capture the sense of walking around an urban environment and overhearing people's radios. It's not the calm melodic Colony 9 stuff but it works.

Oh yeah! Whenever the battle theme comes on I keep hoping it goes on long enough to hear the entire thing. It's very well paced within the context of the game.

I'm waiting for this as well. I think the music sounds a lot better in scenes. I know it's been brought up before, but the scene where Elma takes you to NLA for the first time is really great, especially the camera work in the beginning. I wasn't going to listen to the OST, but since the NA release doesn't seem to be anytime soon, I think I'll indulge myself.
