From everything I heard so far today, the OST is nothing to be worried about.
Sounds like an overall solid experience, not like the first Xenoblade, but not in a bad way, just different.

I would describe it more like 13 year old child wearing nothing over her top but a strap.
This reminds me of the costumes from Kill La Kill. Nudist Beach organization. I fully expect to see this gain traction. Other then that, I hold no opinion about it. Absolutely indifferent like I am to most things.

Don't start listening to the OST expecting Xenoblade 2.0 lol.
Watching chunks of streams here and there, the music in X sounds great though. Vocals and all.

There won't be because it's part of the gameplay/combat.
Err ...why don't you just wait for the localized version?!?
You could play the game. Beat it. Then sell the Wii U and game to another Xenoblade fan for just a little under your cost on ebay or craigslist. I've considered it honestly.

They really shouldn't. Bikinis and such by themselves are relatively boring but being able to combine them all the armor sets could result in some nice combinations. My main character will probably be modeled after Sylia from Bubblegum Crisis so it won't matter much there but it would nice to not have my options limited for the rest of the cast because of a bunch of selfish people who want to save the world from the comfort of their keyboards. If the game lets you play with people from any region I'd not have their designs altered regardless of how I feel about them. I mean playing CVS2 with a bunch of awful pink and neon green color edits was annoying but it doesn't mean those people should lose that option because I don't like it.

Sounds very different from Xenoblade. Some tracks are extremely good (like the one that starts at 5.21), others are a bit disappointing but it's largely a matter of personal tastes. Overall i prefer Xenoblade OST, but this is fantastic too.

Been watching the streams and man, vocals or no, I'm really loving this soundtrack.
Damn that outfit is worse than I thought. Underboob for a 13 year old chara is not what I expected here. Game looks great otherwise though. I miss the music from the last game though. Sawano just isn't as good.
I agree that i would be OK to change it for Lyn. But the thing is, the way the armor seems to work in this game will probably also mean that the changes would translate to all characters. Armor can be equipped on everyone and looks the same for everyone.
They would probably have to change quite a bit with the armor so that it would also differentiate who is wearing it (other than the obvious gender change)
I just don't believe they would do that, They would just change the armor without introducing variants.
So let's say they would change everything that would look inappropiate on Lyn. That would probably also mean that most of the Bikini etc stuff would be censored for all characters, and i would definitely not be Ok with that.
Games with deep customization always look a lot like the person who playes them. If you look a pervert play this game, than yes it will probably look acordingly and vice versa.
Personally i would at least hope they make Lyn older in the localized version. She lookes young, but the way those anime faces look it's hard to argue if someone would say she is 16 or maybe even older. That way it would also make a bit more believable (even though not much) that she is the engineer....
Whatever i just don't want them to censor anything that is not related to Lyn.

I hope so. I some nice bone extrusion options for the face as well. Im going to see just how far I can go with those, and, hopefully, I can also build a body type to match.

Yeah, there was some thread about a previous site update regarding that. You can customize pretty much everything regarding the player character's size.

My only problem with censoring is that isn't this a character your create so shouldn't you be able to dress them up in any way you want? I personally wouldn't use it, but the outfit might be good enough for someone else and the character they are trying to create.
That's not a created character, she's a party member.

Oh okay. I thought maybe it was a character created in to look like the party member. But my point still stands. I don't mind it being censored but for discussions sake I brought up that point.
Hoping for Summer, but I think they would've said something by now if we were getting it that soon, so probably late Fall/Winter.
Late Summer is my guess. August seems to be a possible isn't it?

NoA could easily edit or remove the outfit but leave it intact for the other older ladies. All of the bikinis can be worn by any woman which I think is an oversight and should have had alternate versions for some like Lyn. But yeah, they could easily edit an outfit like they have before in Bravely Default as well as age her up.

LoL. There were people saying they werent going to see Avengers AoU because there is a shot at the very end of a costume with cleavage for about 10 seconds.

The music is amazing. The gameplay looks fun. The scale is ridic, but overall I'm not impressed by the game's visuals. And the faces in this game look terrible; way too anime or something. The faces kinda clash with the rest of the characters' bodies. It's difficult for me to explain.
Anyway, the positives outweigh the negatives, for me. I love RPGs, and this will be the first game I get whenever I cop a WiiU.

People are mentioning censoring but this is from the team that gave us side-nip Sharla and butt-crack Seven. They might just apply that magical localization dust that turns teenagers into 17-year-olds. Or do nothing at all.

Hopefully they don't censor anything so that I can play this game that much sooner. I just won't wear anything I don't like, but I'd rather have this game a few days earlier than stop people from using odd armors.
You've a point since you can change the heigh of your MC in the character creator.

Does anyone know how the weapon selection works? When you create your character do you pick your melee weapon and then ranged weapon, or do they come in sets, i.e. you can only have a dagger with a rifle and such. And are they changeable later in the game?
