One would think it's completly inapt to compare an optional clothing choice in a video game to human beings in real life enslaving each other for hundreds of years.
Party members in Xenoblade received experience, art points and skill points even if they weren't in the party. Logic would dictate it's the same here (haven't had enough members for one to stay in outer party to make sure).

it's the music, hahaha. It's very different for a game, the composer is mainly an anime composer, so i find it kind of cool to have this type of music in a game.
You sure like throwing out those accusations, huh. Nobody seems to be considering that this is probably armor that's equippable by all females, and they just couldn't be assed to make a specialized version for Lyn. You really need to cool your jets.

We've known for quite a while now that you can put anyone you want into your party. Meaning ANYONE (from the available characters). Nobody has to be there.

I don't plan to watch any streams from here on, but are the random NPCs you recruit treated as a character as major as the ones given profiles on the website? Or are they just there for one quest and they're done?
Because she has the same armor options as every other female character? You know the last streamer had to spend all his money to even get his sexy outfit right.

Probably impossible to say because there is no linear path you're being shuffled down. You can probably go questing for 30 hours before you advance the main story to the point that gives you Skells or you could critical path it to get there within a handful of hours.
I haven't seen them in any of the streams yet, for what it's worth (though I'm mostly just listening to them).
Discussing questionable design choices and appreciating and/or being excited for other aspects of the game are not mutually exclusive; certainly doesn't rise to the level of "hate train. . ."
So it was easier to leave that option in than it was to simply remove the character from the loot table? Sure. I buy it.
Let alone it having crap defense. I didn't learn until yesterday that Xenoblade had the same thing, never wore those swimsuit armors since they had such crappy defense and I just wanted to play the game with good defenses

You can put a swimsuit on all the characters, how is that sexing up? don't you ever go to a beach?

I see, that makes sense. But its good to know that we will be able to use them after chapter 6. So it won't take THAT long if you wan't to get one of them.
I want to get an Skell and then start with finishing all the side quests. 8)
