Is there anything that's actually dodgy in Senran Kagura? I thought it was just that all the characters had big boobs.
 
So is this the 2nd 3DS game?

If it does get released in the states, hopefully this will pave the way for the Vita version!
 
I'd pre-order it immediately.

I want this to work out, to open the door for more games that can push the marketplace sexual boundaries for both this and more nuanced non-titillating purposes.

Considering its Xseed.
I think if they went through the trouble for Burst and it did well, Versus would be a no brainer.

That's funny; I was about to say that considering it's XSEED, no matter how well it does, you'll probably only get the first one.

Yeah after I looked back after posting that the realization sank in. I was just trying to keep it positive I guess even for myself.
 
I like how they openly recognize the shitstorm potential.
In any case, hopefully they push for both Burst and Shinovi Versus.

I will say that the latter was an unexpected and hilariously fun experience.

Though Burst is the the second one and does contain most of the content from the first one.
 
I don't get it, all the games(for continuity) or versus only(the most recent one but the first on vita where digital is strong etc), what's the point of starting with the second?

There's a huge focus on boob/ass shots, nudity (covered by white bars or character faces), and some of the game play involves touching the breasts close up. It's one of the most perverted games ever made.

But it is fun!

I was under the impression Burst was more like the Super Street Fighter 4 of the series. Same game more content added.

All of which is done to underage girls (whom I assume are like 16 years old or younger).
...but you can always assume they're 18 or older cuz you can never tell the difference anyways.

Second contains most of the content from the first.

Will buy day 1 if it releases. Keep the voices and just make the text in english and Ill be satisfied.

It's risque, but reaction on forums etc has given it a ridiculous and innacurate reputation for being one step short of full-on porn.

The greater concern is that, whilst the 3DS games are enjoyable, the Vita one really is a big improvement.
 
Wow that's a surprise. I've only played shinovi versus but was pretty sure these games would never come out in NA due to their risque content. For people who played shinovi, is burst as bad in that regard?
 
How is this game more disaster prone than any other niche game released recently?

That's just a cop out so they can avoid physical copies. They can keep the game then. Not dealing with that Eshop.
 
Oh shoot, I thought it was the vita one. Well after looking around a bit, this one seems pretty cool too, so sure, heck yeah I'll take it. WHY NOT
 
I'm normally against digital-only releases, but for Senran Kagura...I would gladly accept.

Just being able to play the game in English would be reason enough for me to purchase it. I would have liked a physical copy, though, but I understand that there might not be a massive market for it.

As far as I know, an account is in the works.

But really, do you guys actually lose your handhelds that this would be THAT big of an issue to prevent you from purchasing stuff from the eShop?
